Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

I tell you what though it's making me think... If they brought it out a bit more and gave you another mount you could fit your soundcard behind the GPU and use a X1 ribbon (cheap as dirt).

I must stop having these ideas. They get very expensive.....

Good idea though Alien

I seem to recall the leccy company out in the USA charging me a $50 service charge per month before I'd even started. That used to annoy me.

The talk about power bills doesn't make much sense without the power cost pr. kwh :)

We pay 1,95 DKK pr KWH = 0,23 GBP pr kwh
And then 30 DKK in subscription = 3,60 GBP

2 Persons in a 4 room apartment (3 rooms + livingroom)
We pay approx 1800 DDK = 215 GBP every 3 months.

Not one person no.
It's still a lot. .23cents per kW
It's because you live in Valhalla. That stupid Odin guy runs the power company, and his bratty kid Thor is always making lightning with his silly hammer, draining the power grid. You shouldn't have to pay for that! I'd consider moving!

LMAO nice one. I honestly don't even remember putting Valhalla:p

I have to agree, Move to the Hindu god Vishnus place, she can be a bit hands on but she's still a step above Thor, Odin and the Abrahamic god who constantly says "worship me or burn in hell" that guy's got ego problems............:D

When I originally built my new PC, I planned on using my old monitor as a second screen (can't live without it). I originally bought a cheap VGA to DP adapter without realizing that VGA is analog and DP required a digital signal. After doing some research, I found that most active display adapters with analog to digital converters are quite expensive. So I ended up snagging this off of AliExpress for less than €10:

Works like a charm. The exact same adapter costs €40 if I were to buy it here in the Netherlands.

Yup that is why I buy most of my stuff from China these days. Same quality as anything else (because it's all made there any way) 1/4 the price or less.

My £9 valve pre amp kit just came on Friday, will be starting that next week :D

haha did you hear that whoosh? I was joking, dude. Any way, found a original 1980s gloss pad set for £17.

Very pleased :)

Honestly, if you only buy from reputable sellers and stick to the more commonly known brands (like Xiaomi. Ugreen is actually a fairly good brand too) you should be fine, but then again I'd never buy computer components or storage devices from AliExpress.

That being said, I've noticed that my second screen starts flickering when I'm playing games. As soon as I stop playing a game, it goes back to normal. Weird. Well, I'm thinking about buying a second 1080p monitor in the future anyway, so I'll just have to deal with it for now.
