Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

RAM for the side rig, gonna start adding parts for that over time and get it done. Planning on retiring the 400C soon as well

Had to treat the lady in my life (my bike, that's what she said) she's out of action until these parts arrive :(

Well that's all the proof I need to get me a vertical GPU bracket. Looks great in the Enthoo, thanks man.

Yeah good call man. Gotta say this does look good and a very good idea from CM !

I'd do mine but the sound cards etc would get in the way.

Managed to snag one of these nice and cheap.

I was a bit worried about cutting up my brand new Enthoo Pro M TG, but it turned out OK.

Looks nice dude, just a question though, what's the Pro like for building in? Thinking of getting one to replace my 400C and in time do a full CPU/GPU loop inside it

That really does look amazing it's just a shame that you lose all the other slots

I tell you what though it's making me think... If they brought it out a bit more and gave you another mount you could fit your soundcard behind the GPU and use a X1 ribbon (cheap as dirt).

I must stop having these ideas. They get very expensive.....

The Enthoo Pro is a great case to build in and not a rivet in sight it's all screwed together :)

Well first I got this.

I got my utility bill in recently and saw that I was using £85 worth of leccy and gas a month. That's without using my heating yet. Not terribly happy with that tbh, especially as I have been power frugal since my split. So I plugged it into my desktop PC and I use 200-220w at idle and 378 under load. That's not good man. Especially as I get up around 7-10 AM depending on sleeping pills and then sit at my PC until around 10pm. And all I do for the most part is sit and chat crap on here lol and put up the odd photo.

So my first port of call was this.

£42. It uses less than 10w and runs Ubuntu (which I know my way around). This isn't about being green as TBH I don't really care about that it's getting my leccy costs down. So I got this with it for £7.99.

It's better than any tablet really and I don't want a tablet as I want my KB and mouse. Will be fine for listening to music, browsing, bit of 720p youtube and so on. Then if I want to game or whatever all I have to do is hit one button on the remote and it will all switch.

Might take me 2-3 months to get my money back but I will eventually and then some.

Next step - monitoring the cinema amps, sub (powered) and so on to see what they use idle as TBH I watch TV when I eat my dinner now and that's it. Yet I leave it all powered on..
