Awesome, very happy for you man :D

Thankyou its an amazing laptop. I have booted it and started updating it. The panel is incredible for TN. I calibrated the panel and its very impressive.
Im just glad it got to me in one piece. I saw the ukpost guy kicking around and throwing stuff about in the back of his van and my heart sank.. luckily it was fine.
The build quality of this alienware laptop is really good. Its solid and heavy. The power brick is huge like you would expect to be able to pump 330w into the laptop.

That is one thing Dell added to Alienware - their brick s**t house build quality.

The difference in quality and materials between an actual Alienware and a Dellienware is pretty mad dude. I know, I have almost the complete history of the Area 51.

Before Dell came along Alienware's laptops were flimsy and suffered all sorts of faults. Since the Dell era? few dodgy hinges but that is literally it.

Enjoy it man ! I love seeing people get new things, especially if it makes them happy :) never been a jealous person and seeing others happy probably makes me happier than being happy myself, as stupid as that sounds :)

A stand for the Oculus Rift, Touch controllers, XB1 controller and Rift remote control/microfiber cloth compartment that also fits snuggly against the foam padding of the Rifts facial interface to act as a dust protector and light blocker so the sensor doesn't get activated when not in use.

That is a clever stand design, though new Oculus Rift headsets won't ship with an Xbox One controller.

Is there a variant that holds two motion controllers?

It does actually hold 2 it was just at an awkward angle ^_^

Some games just need a controller in VR, Adr1ft being 1 of them so an XB1 controller purchase is a must IMO.

Yeah, I remember when everyone hated on Alienware.

That looks awesome. HNLD!

I used to love AW laptops, going back to the first one I purchased pre-Dell. (Area-51 m5500 first gen) It was with my last one, the first gen M14X that I stopped buying AW laptops- Hinge issues and multiple keyboard replacements. After that, I decided to never get another AW laptop.

I want to play South Park so bad but I don't want to have to deal with uPlay though. Despite Matt and Trey's direct involvement I am still a bit worried about the quality since this game is being made by Ubisoft themselves and not Obsidian.

It looks pretty much the same thing as before. Only lots more of it. If UBI made sure the game engine belonged to them after Obsidian wrote it (very likely) then it will be just like the last one. All of the content is done by Tre and Matt, hence why it takes so long.

Couldn't care if I have to use Uplay, it's hardly intrusive.

Looks like it was 3D printed. Nice idea. I think I would like to see one designed so it could suspend under a desk out of the way.
