Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Bought this a few days ago, An Asus PCI-E M.2 NVME adapter card for some better cooling on my NVME drive compared to the little compartment on my mobo.

I'm planning on buying of these when I go m.2 myself. Any chance you could let us know whether it will affect performance Dice?

I've never considered one. I'll take a look at them because it would look nice in my next build and would make room on the Ryzen motherboards for another m.2 drive down the line, even if it's only at x2 speed or standard SATA 3.

Delivered today and got a Steam controller for £25 for the new build. Rang Corsair to ask about an eta for my AM4 bracket and they said in 2 days so all being well, my next post will be the build log (finally)

running 2 M.2's on my MSI Gaming 7 no issues at all with temps one is even under the M.2 Shield. They are in raid 0 as my boot drive

Mine goes up to around 70'c while gaming even while in the Asus expansion card with decent airflow, Little hot for my liking, Going to be getting the Alphacool M.2 cooling heatsink to help with temps.

I would rather use a board with 2x M.2 slots rather than that ugly thing:p

I'm taking the silver bracket off the card as it's only held on with 2 x screws and painting it satin black to go with the mobo armor paint colour and honestly it doesn't look bad once in, The PCB is all black and even has a power and activity LED onboard that you can see through the window, Looks kinda snazzy ^_^

what are you using to monitor it?? I havent really paid attention as I;m not experiencing any drop in performance plus my games are on a samsung evo 850 ssd 1Tb so the m.2's are only for opsys and other minor duties.
