Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Nice purchase! I too had the itchy finger today... got myself a nice upgrade before 3rd party 480's come out(or if the 1060 is out then, either one)

and some DDR4 sticks, but nothing fancy:p

Going ITX. Recently moved soo my Define S is currently taking up WAY to much space.. so selling that off(upsets me because I really LOVE this case). Hopefully Phanteks is everything people say there are, was really the only ITX case that would work for me.

I love small builds, but i think that ITX usually leads to messy cabling. Next time i upgrade my motherboard i'll definitely go matx though. Whenever that will be, the 4670k is 3 years old now and there seems to be no reason to move on from that in the near future.

Yeah only way to make ITX builds cable tidy is with a full modular PSU and custom cables (pricey but worth it), and agree with the 4670K it has some good few years left in it, the main reason I went with the 4790K I'll get 5 - 6 years easy out of it.

Got a fully modular PSU so should be fine. Wanted MATX but I found a lot of the cases were actually quite big. Couple of them were only barely shorter height and depth wise than my Define S, and seeing as that was to big for me, had to resort to ITX. Fine with me in the end:)
Upgraded from my 3570k. Trusty CPU that has some life in it, but it's not as good as the 6700k in games these days, the 6700k should last me even longer hopefully a full 4 years instead of 3 from the i5

Oooops, itchy purchase finger! Gigabyte Force K85

Had to be done my old Gigabyte membrane board is getting a little ratty and it's served me well for the last 5 years so it's about time she was retired. Sticking with Gigabyte still but moving onto a mech this time, with a choice of red and blue switches.

Looks like a great keyboard mate! I haven't tried any Gigabyte keyboards, but my previous rig had a gigabyte motherboard in it, and it lasted me for well over 10 years of pure abuse. Nothing but praise for Gigabyte from me.

Mechanical keyboards really do make a huge difference. If you type a lot, you'll see your WPM skyrocket. It does take some getting used to, but after a few hours you'll feel right at home. Did you go for reds or blues?

Not sure how well the toggle switches will work with Elite as there's nothing that uses them

If the Saitek software is anything like it used to be, you should be able to set both positions as a 'button press' or a single bind, or both, i.e. a press and a release, or both count as a press. Which are all bindable in Elite ;)

I don't know it was just something I saw someone saying they couldn't use them in elite, but as I have a t-flight I wouldn't know for sure

Just pulled trigger on this BadBoy!

Samsung UE49KU6400 49-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV.

Comes with both Red and Blue switches so I can choose, reds are pre installed.

I've done a build with a z97 stinger and that case and it looked amazing, even though I was using a cheap cooler. Its by far the best ITX case for cable management. Its also a solid case. EVGA's motherboards are also excellent on the whole. Temperature wise its also decent too.

That case makes it really easy to do clean cabling.

Sweet! Thanks for the tips! My favorite feature about this case is the slide in/out top mounted rack. That's just such a great feature and on a case this cheap? Damn:)

So just coz I really need a new controller and I just donated my reserve to forum Member SniperGirl ;) Your welcome, hope to see you on the forums more often.

Desperately trying to order in all of the modding stuff I need in one go, but I keep having ideas.

OK then I realised that the plastic primer I had bought was actually what HOK call "KO seal" and wasn't primer at all (it just seals any nasty stuff so you can paint over it and not worry about crap coming through). Which is good I guess but now I have to order some actual primer.
