Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Wonder why they aren't making more 780 Classy blocks then as JR said they are hard to find, Makes no sense to me.

I very much doubt they will make a new SKU of the same block. Considering there isn't even a 980Ti reference block SKU, just a Titan X, and they must sell in comparatively massive numbers to a Classy block.

They had to make the KPE block to fit that card specifically as it has more power connectors, it would of been incompatible with the 780 Classy block.

As you say if the demand is there they may well decide to do another run of 780 Classy blocks, but I wouldn't expect them to be fast about it hence why I said that is definitely the part to pick up first for your loop.

It seems like EK have been trying to eliminate some of these potential problems with manufacturers re-using proprietary PCB's, the recent blocks are generally branded just with the name of the cooler. Like the MSI TF5, rather than 980Ti TF5 as it would of been in the past. I doubt they will change the current Classified block to conform with that, as it would be another three parts it kind of defeats the idea.

Who knows maybe there will be a redesign, but I would of expected it to be 780/780Ti/780Ti KPE/980Ti/980Ti KPE Classified compatible and as they just did a KPE exclusive it seems less likely. It would be possible to make that though.

And

Decided to use my new mouse in wired mode so ordered this.

Coils.

And one of my wife's many Christmas presents, a Moorcroft.

Cooler than cool.

After multiple issues with my Cooler Master Nepton 240M, I decided to go back to air cooling. To that end I needed a nice looking, well performing cooler that wouldn't break the bank, or the side of my case. I managed to pick up this gorgeous cooler from Phanteks for a touch under €45, brand new. Bloody bargain.

A nice little shot of some of my other recent purchases, including 32GB of Kingston HyperX Savage that I got for stupidly low price (think under €50 for all 4 sticks) and my sexy R9 290X:

And this is how it all looks fitted into my S340:

With some of the money OCUK refunded me for the leaky Fury X not only did I get the 980 Ti Classified but also the new revised XB1 controller *Added 3.5mm headphone port and more responsive triggers etc...* and micro USB to standard USB cable for driving games and various 3rd person games, I'll also be getting the rechargeable battery pack next month and wireless dongle once it releases in December :)

Not sure what the new wireless solution entails but if you have a spare usb motherboard header you can have the receiver hidden inside your rig somewhere. Saves on cable clutter you just need an internal adaptor for the usb cable.

Nice - I have the same one. I find the DPI Shift (sniper) button is a bit far away for me but that's probably just how I hold it. Overall very solid.
It doesn't feel as solid as my m65 and I had hoped that the dpi button wasn't the two next to the left click but a least it's bigger in my hand and the scroll wheel if far too light and feels flimsy

Good tip is to reprogram the DPI buttons unless you really like to change them on the fly. My wheel feels pretty solid but I haven't had a Corsair to compare it to - I came to this from the Razer Deathadder.

Finally got a mechanical keyboard, been a long time time coming, especially with me averaging 50+ hours/week playing csgo. Picked the keyboard because between it's competitors (razer-thingy tournament, or cm quickfire) it is by FAR AND AWAY the sexiest looking board. Cherry reds :)

Had a corsair m60 for the longest time but as my skill level in csgo improved I started to realise the snesor in the m60 just wasn't going to cut it. The zowie mouse is genuinely something else. I've always liked a smaller mouse and it fits my weird fingertip/claw grip perfectly and the sensor is unreal.

Newest addition to my headphone hobby, Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro.

Very satisfied with them so far, great soundstage for a closed-back headphone. Punchy and tight bass without getting overwhelming, slightly recessed mid's but satisfying high's. These headphones are known for their long burn-in time so looking forward to see how these turn out and sound even better.
