Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

I actually had to kick some vapers out of work a few days ago as they were clouding the place up and when you're in a place where people are lifting literally hundreds of pounds of iron and steel the last thing you want is a face full of that stinky stuff and to a non smoker/vaper it can make you cough.

They seemed insulted that people were actually coughing and complaining XD

So now we have a new sign - No smoking, No vaping, No drinking, Use common sense and leave it for outside the gym or you will be asked to leave.

This is only common sense. A little consideration goes a hell of a long way.

Sadly not a lot of people use common sense and considering when people are training the last thing they want is to start inhaling someone's chemicals.

I have nothing against anyone vaping, Smoking whatever, Do what you want just don't do it in a place where people actually need clean air to breathe as it can heavily hinder performance.

Vape is not what you think it is, dude. It's primary ingredient is Propelene Glycol (poss SIC) which is what they use in asthma pumps and the vape smells lovely, certainly not stinking.

All it is is steam and that steam dissipates very quickly.

There seems to be a serious misunderstanding about vaping, and once again like smoking people are quick to discriminate.

As an ex smoker (of 23 years) I can safely tell you that vaping is the most important thing to happen in many years. People smoking causes cancer and other illnesses that cost the tax payer money. Vaping ? has been proven to be completely safe, other than the ill effects of nicotine (increased heart rate).

I just really hate how people discriminate against those who smoke, and now vape. It's like some spiteful witch hunt.

There is no passive smoke, the vapor is completely safe (propelene glycol) and you have nothing to worry about.

The only down side of vaping that I can possibly even see is that kids will pick it up and do it. My own 17 year old step daughter does it and I can't say I am overly happy about it but I would rather her do that than start smoking.

Oh for god's sake listen to yourself !

When training you want the air to be as clean as possible and not inhale someone else' chemicals, It's common sense dude, People go to the gym to train, Get strong and improve their bodies, The last thing I want is to have someones cloud hovering over my face and you really don't want it around when people are doing cardio.

Again I have no problem with anyone vaping do what makes you happy just keep it out of the gym or you will be asked to leave and membership will be revoked if it happens more than once, It's a simple rule to follow.

This isn't just vaping it goes for smoking and drinking too.

Also, why on earth would you go to the gym to vape? Really doesn't make any sense.

A few people that did do it *New members* Did it after they finished training and sat down and started vaping.

I asked them to do it outside and they did, No one was harmed :)

As I said I have no problem with vaping or smoking but keep it out of a gym.

Not to cause a debate or feud but I hate vapers as much as smokers. Ok it doesnt stink, but I still dislike the smell. At least its a 100 times more tolerable than tobacco. But in certain places i still like the idea of being able to breath fresh air instead :)

Its banned here in Norway. On what grounds you ask? well, they will automatically consider any inventions like this to be dangerous until proven safe ;) its a weird law.
But its actually illegal to sell e sigs and e-liquids, but its legal to buy.

if you want to read Norway's silly law you can read this blog.

Im not against Vaping, but im not for it either. However if it helps people quit smoking then go for it. I just hope those vaping, continue to have some awareness for those around them who dislike the smell of both methods.

Chemicals? it's nicotine and a vegetable based oil. Why do people panic so much?

There's more chemicals in the body building products you likely use. I know, I used to work selling that stuff.

It's nothing but people's wish to demonise something or some one. First it's smokers, now vapers, next thing you know they will be making people look bad who draw benefits and making every one going around saying "Gid out spending my hard earned taxes". Oh wait.

Don't fall into the trap dude. Honestly, life is far easier when you chill a little and don't discriminate against others.

The smell is the carrier. So it can be anything from tropical fruit to coffee.

We all do things that annoy others dude, it's just human nature. As I said to Dice, best not to be prejudice and live and let live.

As for whether it's safe? crossing the road isn't safe. Breathing in air isn't safe. Food isn't safe, why you think so many people are dying of cancer all of a sudden?

It's just demonising people for the sake of it.

You misunderstand bud, I have nothing against people who want to vape or smoke but in my work it is simply not allowed and that goes for smoking and drinking too.

If people want to do it they can walk 5 feet outside the door and do it, No biggie.

We get a lot of people who are quite influential in the BB industry going through our place and if they saw someone vaping in a GYM it would look incredibly unprofessional considering it's meant to be a place of health not somewhere people start getting their nicotine dosages from.

Anyway moving on.

Just got these as my older buds were a little poop, Grand total of £8, Bargain for Sennheiser earbuds ^_^

I hate buds. They're too intrusive for me I hate shoving things in my ears.

Mind you I had a set of Creative buds once that I quite liked (they were Senns in disguise) but yeah, hate shoving things in my ears.

Same here but when lying on the bench or floor cans can get in the way so for the time being it's buds plus they help drown out the sound of the barbies in work who are ALWAYS there just standing around or strutting around the place, You know the type, The popular "Like OMG like what-ever let's talk about our hair extensions while blocking the weights while we bend over in skin tight leggings".

At first you look but after they do it all the time you just want to nut the wall :banghead:

LOL your job sounds like torture to me !

I'm about as popular as the bubonic plague and we like it that way. I'm so out of touch that I end up liking a song only to find it's three years old and no one is listening to it any more :D

You just reminded me why I rarely leave the house :D

Paul getting me a guitar means I no longer have to buy a €320 one that I was eyeing up which means I already have enough money to get myself the parts to make it awesome and an amp and such :D

Also got a guitar rack consider I'll be having an acoustic and two electrics now and my walls are getting full

And lastly I got a pearloid pickguard for the stratocaster as it looked really good on my mate's guitar that we did last week.

I'm partial to making the guitar scream myself. ^_^

Lastest purchase is this. Not a purchase per se, but a replacement sent to me from Logitech. I had a Logitech G500s gaming mouse that gave me sporadic double clicking problems.

Since the G500s has been EOL'd, Logitech sent me this as a replacement under warranty. Nice to get a free upgrade. :p

Ooh nice! welcome to the g502 club! My old G500 had the same thing and a cursor problem which made it jittery when playing games. Logitech was kind enough to replace it with the G502 too :D Enjoy your new mouse as it's fantastic product! :)
