IF you can still overclock them using the baseclock by a little bit if your putting a aftermarket cooler on it, then see which you can clock the highest and then flog the other two.

Otherwise see which uses the lowest voltage and provides the coolest temps and then flog the others.

I would however keep hold of them for 2 weeks in case they click on and try to ask for them back.

They can only ask for them back, not demand them. They were sent out by mistake yes but they are unsolicited goods and you are not required by law to send them back etc.

What does it say on the Despatch note that came with the 3 i5's? and your mobo. I would personally check that first before doing anything else.

The Intels don't kick out anymore heat that the FX's and overclocks show much better results, You'll kick yourself down the line bud

Pretty much no contest on the heat output i run NF F12's in push pull on a H80i usually @ 1200rpm with my fx chip and in this hot summer it Ideled at just under 40c @ 4Ghz and hiting 65c underload.
Now i am running the i5 i have lowerd the rpm's to 800rpm and dont even see over 56c, and my pc has finaly shut up lol apart from that MSI TF3 HD7950...
I have to run the i5 with c state 3/6 off and turbo mode on at the moment as my psu does not support haswells lowpowerstate's (psu is the next upgrade) and my old games run smooth as butter (fallout nv runs a hell of a lot better)

I am a happy man

Few bits and pieces for me this month. Firstly I've been visiting my uncle a lot lately and he's really turned me on to espresso. So I got this.



And then these.



Then to take care of my phone. I have a Blackberry Passport (I know, off the wall) and I can't express how much I love it. It's just a fine communications device and I couldn't be without it. Sadly there aren't many cases around for it and the stock Blackberry one is falling apart. This is a heavy device, so I wanted something it snaps into. Cue this.



It wasn't cheap. However, neither was the unit itself (I paid closing in on £400 for it) so I think it's well worth it.

So what does the PC get this month? a 480gb one of these.



I noticed my main gaming drive only has 80gb left, nowhere near enough.

Just got my hands on the lovely Asus Z97 Mark 1 motherboard, but i forgot to take a picture of it when i got home So here is a picture of my rebuild PC right now, whit a S36 in it also

The motherboard was 50 % off the normal price The S36 was 25 % off normal price also

Upgraded to a new phone, it was so sorely needed as my aging Wildfire S is at deaths door and soooo damn slow, not to mention it took a lifetime to write messages on it with my chunky man thumbs. So the Lumia 640 was my weapon of choice from Giffgaff as a pay monthly deal, I'm not even joking when I say that I actually prefer this over any Samsung Galaxy or iPhone, and at only £124 open all networks it's a no brainer.

Buttery smooth, it's the quad core snapdragon with 1gb RAM & 8gb internal memory so thrown a 8gb SDHC in (32gb ordered) and transfer all the apps then uninstall all the crap, set up all my usual apps from the store i.e Whatsapp, Skype, Gmail, Messenger, Co Pilot, Electronics Wizard ect ect. Registered my win 10 hotmail account to it and it's like having the whole of my PC documents in my hand Onedrive is a top piece of software. It's so intuitive and fast too so win win all round. I used to add £10 a month in credit which was wasted for how much I used my old phone, so dropped to the £5 a month deals that Giffgaff do and got the handset for £4.75 a month for 24 month, boost the credit score and saved 25p each month.

Battery life is awesome too I charged it out the box 15:00 last Friday and it has just gone on charge 1:45 Monday, that's almost 59hrs on a 5 hour charge and I've been giving it the beans tinkering and playing with it.
