It says only 5 left at this price, After those 5 are gone it will go back to £629.99 according to the OCUK staff and I bought it 2 days before this deal came on.
Id buy another one, and send your one back, save some money

Nah too much hassle, Knowing my luck I'd get 1 with dead pixels back XD
Just bought one of these on Ebay, paying for it on Friday (agreed it with the seller)
For £200 inc. Decided not to go mental and keep it (sort of) sensible. 240gb for the OS is more than enough.
Always wanted one of those but for the amount of storage I just couldn't justify the price.
Maybe if it was 480GB as a base model then I would have gotten it.
Apparently Intel are going to do a 750 PCIE SSD for £350, 400gb? something like that. But it's not out yet and everywhere is showing no stock.
I bought a 120gb Revodrive on Scan 18 months back for £40 and I tell you what I bloody love it. Sadly that's a part of my lady's rig and she would have my balls in a sling if I nicked it back.
Right now I have a 320 series 80gb holding the OS but just recently the OS has grown to 74gb leaving me with a red 6gb left and the performance has utterly nose dived.
It is expensive for what it is, even at £200. However it leaves the SATA connector clear so I can keep the 80gb in here for a couple of games (I've used all of the others).
For storage I run four 64gb Corsair Novas that I got brand new on Ebay for £10 each. They do 1tb R/W and I got 220gb so I use that for important games. I just literally need a boot drive that I can set and forget and not worry about it running out of space.
Rest of the rig is very high spec so it won't be out of place![]()
Question for you bud, How did your OS jump up to 74GB ?
My Windows 8.1 install takes up 25GB fully updated with all drivers and quite a few programs installed.
Tip for you, Store porn on a hard drive![]()
I don't really know mate tbh. I do know that I install any benchmarks to the SSD to prevent any read lag when they are running. However, recently I removed loads of them but it only gave me about 3gb back.
Bear in mind though I have been running Windows 8 (note not 8.1) since pretty much launch, so there's probably an awful lot of junk that needs clearing out.
It's beginning to show when I boot now.
I always planned to fit a PCIE SSD in the rig as I think they're far sexier (and quicker) than regular SSDs and my board has so many slots I lost count. It's so big it needs a case with 10 PCI back plates
Edit. It's most probably save games and stuff like that that all go to My Games in My Documents. Will take a look round...
Edit again, just got back 3.4gb running Disk Cleanup.
I think I'l probably partition the RAIDR into two chunks and use one for games![]()
Delete the page file/move it to a HDD, cleanup any restore points, and then delete hibernation. You'll probably get back about 25GB as a minimum. If you have more than 8GB of ram then you will get back even more. Also use CCleaner. Clear the registry of any old junk and use it to cleanup all the crap.

I don't delete hiberfil on Win 8 because it's part of the boot process and why it boots so much quicker than 7. I'm not even sure you can delete it.
Didn't think of the paging file though and that would make sense as I'm running 16gb ram.
Might try experimenting with that later cheers.
Yeah you can shrink it using e.g. "powercfg -h -size 50%" default is 75% I think.
sure you didnt forget to remove windows.old or have some backup inside the folder somewhere?
Let me know when you make it to online, I might be able to find a little time to play

I can get online mate but since updating GPU drivers audio through monitor or headphones is just noise/fuzzing.
