hominah hominah hominah

+1 for metal piston (hope you got a decent spring for that puppy)
+1 for mosfet (omg they're amazeballs)

I'd have gone for helical gears for that kind of setup personally, you've so much custom stuff in there you'd have the time to properly shim it up and you get *much* smoother operations with helicals (also very nice upgrade in torque)

I'd love to know what that Chrono's at when you're done
May I ask where you bought it and how much it was all in?

It's been a long process as this is an example of the next gen marui ver 2 gearbox with added recoil affect which aside from cylinder uses completely different parts than a standard V2. Only certain manufacturers, lonex, prometheus, SHS, magicbox make parts for them at the moment

The Piston is actually a hard plastic that Prometheus use so I don't think weight will be a problem there and as i'm sure you're aware their parts are the dogs bo**ocks so shouldn't be an issue

Spring i've gone for is an m95 which i hope will give me around 330-340 fps on .2s considering the full internal upgrade as I don't wanna be hot with this weapon being both my CQB and woodland weapon.

Can't say i've heard of helical gears but siegetek are universally accepted as the best and definitely the strongest gears in airsoft being made from Chromoly steel

The whole lot has cost me a damn pretty penny but i've tried to save costs where i can by ordering from hong kong, japan etc. and taking into consideration import fees and so on. I think it's saved me around 100 quid or so

I'll see what I can do Shaun, a few of my favourites got sold on but I'll try and take a bunch of photos for you.

Pretty much all bought abroad. Wgcshop , ehobbyasia, echigoya guns etc.

You should get the PGC glock slide if you've got a marui. Based on the lil research i've done they seem to tick all the boxes

http://www.uk.redwolfairsoft.com/re...GBB_PGC_G17_Metal_Slide_Kit_for_Marui_G17.htm

My dream slide would obv be a salient arms airsoft surgeon slide though *drool

Aye she's a Marui, popped the front of the top slide, just using green gas/propane.. bit gutted really cuz I love it and miss using her.

That link looks fine, but I'd need an upgraded recoil spring as well.

I'm after somewhere in the UK, I've not had much success with importing from none UK sites... You've named some shops I'm unaware of though... iiiiinteresting

All the sites i listed are 100% reputable but be sure to add 20% plus up to a £13 handling fee just in case customs decide to pick you.

Redwolf have a UK site now, then obv you got the usual Zero one, firesupport, landwarrior, patrol base and so fourthin the UK.

Where do you play dude?

Yeah sounds like the usual suspects, I'll have a neb, it's been a while since I've looked.
Will respond to the other question via PM

Sold my Samsung 4K monitor, 4K is nice but honestly after dong some tests going from 1080P to 4K yes the detail difference is there but it's so not worth the hype and power needed and I personally feel 1080P is the perfect sweet spot for gaming.

I have now ordered the BenQ XL2720Z 144Hz 1ms monitor with a plethora of features.

The "Z" version which I've purchased has an option on the menu for that without the need for the little hack, the "T" version does require the hack though :)

Nope tiz 1080P, I honestly don't see that much of a difference myself between 1080P and 1440P and I use BenQ monitors in work all day so thought I'd go with this :)

Isn't 27" a bit big for 1080p?

I really still want to upgrade to a 27" 1440p screen some time, but they're still €400+ over here. besides, I'd sacrifice the pleasure of having a TV and monitor in one :(

For some but I find 1080P at 27" perfect for my eyes, Means I can sit back a good distance from the screen and still read everything :)
