Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Thank you mate, was planning to build a fs1b based system for my niece and I was looking for a really tiny case, this one seems good.
It did require a bit of trickery to fit in the CPU fan on the stock heatsink though. The fan will actually not fit under the hard drive brackets with the board I used, I've attached it on with cable ties and put it slightly off center from the center of the heatsink. Bit of a dirty hack-job, but it works.

That doesn't apply to all AM1 boards though, this guy managed to get the MSI mini-ITX AM1 board in the same case fine. Only thing is you need a PicoPSU for that board, the ASRock one I have can be powered from a laptop adapter.

Bought myself a dips station, I've never used machines as I just don't like them, I'm 100% free weights.
So now I have around 400KG, Yes 400KG of weights in my house which is made up of mainly 10KG and 20KG plates, Also a large bench, Pullup frame, Parallettes etc...

It's huge and now I no longer need to go to the gym *apart from with clients* and put up with the idiot chav scally scum who lifts 10 pounds and make a sound like a dying rat.

Can do it all at home :D

You train at home like me now. :) Its better, unless you need a spotter. (Nothing to do with a sniper for those who don't train).

Most of my training over the past 5 years has been done at home, I prefer it to be honest seeing as I never train with machine and always use freeweights and body weight.
I like to train in a quiet environment and gyms now aren't like libraries anymore ^_^

made my own lol had em 15 yrs and still work great

Very cool, Unfortunately I don't have access to the required tools :(

I don't mind noise and music but I don't like training with my own music, you wait for it to kick off which means your resting too long and then if your still repping whilst it goes quieter it messes you up there.

I don't train with any music, Just me and the iron, The music is when they klang together ^_^

I got this recently and it keeps me ticking, although I must admit it was free ;)

Reckon that makes the purchases on here seem a little bit more non-essential.

Hope it's doing the trick and that you're ok.

Hard to follow Madmullen's post but I've just scored a really good bargain on an as new Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro, the i5 version in silver.

I've managed this long without replacing my laptop and had thought about a Surface Pro 2 now that the 3 is out but I haggled to get this at well below half price. Pick it up tomorrow all in time for flying out to IFA on Friday.

So everyone's building 5960X systems with nine GPUs and several terabytes of RAM, and I'm just downsizing to these bad boys

MSI Z97I Gaming AC Motherboard, Corsair H100i and some Black Spray paint. Just need to club together the pennies for a 4690k or something and I'm laughing.

Honestly, if you don't own black spray paint, even if you're the type of builder who just builds, puts the side panel on and leaves it at that, you need to get some. It's the absolute shit when you need to stealth something for +1 sexy points. Anyone who has used - or even seen - a H100i will know it's mounting brackets stick out like a sore thumb, because they're silver.

Three coats later...

Easily the best investment I've ever made. Better than everything. And it was four quid :laugh1:

Don't need reminding that the iPod's camera is shite... urgh...

Haha I don't disagree with that but I am one of the worst people in the world at painting. Isn't the H100i mount all black nickel? Like the exact colour of all ROG capacitors and such, I always thought Corsair mounting hardware looked good

Not for me, was bright silver. Unless I'm picky and have an odd lighting setup lol. Probably the latter. I fucked up my first build badly, so I'm going all out perfection on the second, making something actually pretty and without losing all the grommets, screws erc

Oh and you just spray back and forth, wus :p

edit: found this picture. I know it's a drawing or whatever, but that's literally how mine looked. TBF I do have a light right above the system, which will only get worse when the Air 240 arrives, cus I'll be putting the window on top.
