Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

I've seen a few people saying how good these are lately, most people are saying they are just as good as anything else in the upto £100 bracket.
Don't know how true that is but i've seen more than one person saying it and not just reviewers.

I have a pair of Samson SR850s which use the same driver as the HD668B and I can vouch that these can are almost in the same league of wow-for-pennies as the legendary HTF-600s back in the day :)

For £30 I can't believe how good they are! They feel so nice and are really comfy for long periods of time which is great when you're listening to music or don't want to move when watching a movie.

The 668B's are designed differently to pretty much anything I've ever even tried! They sit in a different place to where you would usually sit your headphones but are still comfortable when you find the right spot.

When they get put on the desk with Orca Ill be sliding the STX in to drive these...

Then I just have to listen and wait for the STX II ;)

I would love to hear that in person! Guess I've got some saving to do :p

This doesn't help my savings, but I wanted it anyway.

Hi

Ok new purchase for a nerd. I hated that even the short cable set from Silverstone had so much left over to hide in my Corsair 250D, so am going to make my own modular extensions just the right length

Let you know once I have finished them all

Finally got this delivered to join in the SSD revolution even though my MB only supports SATA II. All 250GB of goodness to finally kick start the upgrade process. Might need a new CPU+MB+PSU next to truly unlock the potential of this.
Not content with just this, also gone and hit buy button on a set of pots and pans as the current lot I've got are gash

Hoping that its money well spent

I'm just about to start a build/potential modding project.

Step one; sell ps3 + games and accessories (done)(hopefully should cover it + however much i can sell my current kit for)

Just bought myself a nice Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87 motherboard, new and sealed on ebay £70 :)

Next step is buying a 4670k, but after i sell my two HD 7870 cards.

Expect a new project log to appear tomorrow sometime.

that's a pretty sweet deal for the g1 sniper.
if you have to sell your current GPUs to buy a ~200 euro CPU, how will you pay for a new GPU?

When everything is sold I shouldn't be out of much (if any money).

PS3 accessories and a few games sold for a total of £56 at CEX, then my PS3 console and remaining games sold for £120.

Bought a Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X on ebay for £275 and a Gigabyte G1 Sniper for £70.

i had the normal v2 version before i got my DT990 with mini amp (which btw sounds a heck of a lot better). it's a good headset, but it hurt my ears after about an hour of wearing it.

yeah i had been looking for a new amp+headphones for a while, but i just decided that i cant justify the money needed for them, even though i would really have loved too. but these im finding are stupendous.
