You should give the Shure SE215s a try dude. The ear pieces detach from the cable, most of the time it's the cable that goes and with the 215s you can buy replacement cables and plug it strait into the ear pieces.
Or if it's a prob with the ear piece you can buy a replacement one.

They also come with a 2yr warranty as well, so you can get them replaced for free within that time :)

be afraid!

I wouldn't touch that if you paid me, I would rather stick my junk in a food blender ;)

There's a good American saying I like, Sounds like it's for vegetarians but it's generally for all people.

"If it comes from a plant, Eat it, If it was made in a plant, Don't touch it"

not to mention that your protein bar/beef jerky sure as hell didn't grow on a tree.

True but it's a lot better for you and doesn't give you cavities, Only down side is you do tend to make gas that rivals the holocaust lol

Does this give you a better/cleaner signal compared to the generic cables ?

Also this arrived a few minutes ago, The Razer decal, Goes on the inside of the window for a very clean look, It's made to look like an etched transparent glass effect, Very shiney me likey ^_^

I can't find my camera so it's going to have to be the design that it was made from, When I find my camera I'll update the post.
It's going on the lower left part of the 540 window inside :)

yeah its supposed to minimize on interference, ive got 6 network cables running side by side downstairs and try to get shielded cables, im not sure whether it works, but for the sake of a couple of ££ worth it. also because they are shielded they're stiffer which makes them a little more robust

This got delivered to me at work today. :D

And I thought my 7950 was a large card, this is the biggest I've ever had.

I can't be bothered in installing my HD 7950 again to bench so don't expect anything as thorough as your benching thread!

TBH really though, it's massive overkill for the resolution I currently game at (1600x1200), but a new monitor is definitely on the cards for later in the year. The one I have is over 6 years old now.

The 290 wont even break a sweat at 1600x1200 :)
It hardly breaks one at 1080p apart from when playing Crysis or Metro.

First thing I notice is that it's stupid quiet. :)

I can barely even hear it when I'm gaming on it, and that's without headphones. My 7950 was audible (only without headphones) while gaming, but to be fair to it, the temperatures were always in the low 60's, I could easily have turned the fan speed down and let the GPU run hotter.

Although I almost always game with headphones on, so even the reference R9 290/290X probably wouldn't have bothered me that much. ^_^

It starts to get noticeable at ~74c and 40% fan speed but thats the highest it will go temp wise and fan speed wise. It's still not loud when it reaches those temps or fan speed though, just that you can notice it running.

Me and my friend went on a GPU fueled road trip to OCUK this morning. I finally got my second classy and he picked up a lightning.

While his box is bigger and far more impressive I think i'll stick with my classys :) i'm very happy to have them up and running smoothly and quietly now no thanks to Scan for screwing me around with an RMA.

Very nice, Post some pics of them both up and running :)

I got screwed around with by scan as well, They took 6 months *No Exaggeration* to deal with an RMA and at first claimed it was never signed for even though I had proof from DPD.
Have never bought from them since.

Asus P9X79, Intel i7 4820K, 8GB kingston HyperX genesis and a koolance CPU-380i waterblock. All to upgrade my 5 year old phenom II.
