I miss being into RC, I did it decades ago. What we had then does not hold a candle to what is available now. It would be fun to play with the newer stuff. What I'd gotten was one of the latest and greatest then, a Tamiya Rough Rider which I proceeded to modify greatly. My job changed and had me busy 7 days a week and traveling and I sold it all. I never had free time. Now I have a lot and no money.

I bought it off Gumtree. The seller had it listed for £1200, I offered £1000 and she accepted.
Wasn't really a catch at all tbh. I think it was a combination of not really knowing what she was selling, and wanting a quick sale.
It was a build from one of the companies (computerplanet.co.uk). It's 13 months old, so is mainly out of warranty - but if everything's lasted a year then I can't really see it going wrong on it's own.

Great buy. Often the hard drives have 3+ year warranties, check that out. My WD Green has 3 and my WD Black has 5.

Heh, I'm selling all those on anyway, so it doesn't really matter.
I'm only keeping the GTX690, Rampage IV Formula and 3960X. I've already got everything else I need.

I'm actually liking it so far. My main use for a phone is staying in touch with people (social media, texting, whatsapp and whatnot) and WP8 is really good at that. Some things aren't as smooth as you'd want them to be, but the OS is not really big yet, I guess we will see improvement over time
Was a real bargain for €250,- :lol:
