Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

I don't even think it has an app tbh. It's literally on or off. It came default to on, and I was going to turn it off. I really was. The pic of Ghostbusters was the first thing I tried prior to peeling off the protection things and watching it that evening, and I realised then what it does.

That was the second test I did when tuning the surround. The new TV activated new sound modes on my receiver, so I had to make sure the sound was all coming from where it should. But yeah, the bit with the flying lights literally made my jaw hit the deck.

I really just thought it was RGB from behind the TV. Like, static colours that you pick.

Its an app built into the TV. Non controllable, but for example firmware updates etc update it as an app.

At least that is what I noticed when I was looking up firmware details. "updated ambilight app to ver 5.555" etc

Its my favourite kind of app. The kind you just forget about and simply work.

4x8GB of some non RGB DDR4 SHOCK HORROR NO RGB !!! :D

4133 CL18 tweaked down to 4000 CL16.

Id sooner buy a Philips TV with Ambilight and do away with extra cameras and leds, and just let the App within the TV do the same thing.

sure if some one is in the market for a new tv but if you already own a top flagship model that you just dropped over 2 grand on or even just a cheaper tv that is in your budget would you scrap it just to say it has it little lights built in, its just one of the best options out there right now

and if you do want a tv that you gona put in all that money would you not rather have a better panel or get it just for the lights at the back ?

so much tech coming out on tv's lately its hard to keep up
that atmos demo looks and sounds amazing on my one by the way i put that in my saved videos cheers AA

Ah yes I get you bro. It's part of the android os it runs so I guess it gets its updates through that .

Goodbye YT ads. Also going to demod the front of my PC at home, so needed a new dust filter.

And a desk for mum's. Mine is damaged and has sagged like a pensioner's boobs. I only wanted this because of the shape, and that it is wide enough so I can put my ROG Centurion at one end. Right now that is packed away as I just don't have space.

Saw one in person at a local store and the quality is a lot better than Corsairs stuff so decided to switch, BeQuiet Silent Base 802, No window but the window can be bought separately if I should want it down the road but I don't think I will, Going for a more silence orientated clean looking build.

Was able to grab the 7600x for $200... Steal for that price. It's so cheap that for me once x3D variants come out I won't feel bad about replacing this and I won't lose out on much money when I resell if any.

Got the 32GB Trident Z5 6000 CL36 kit off eBay for barely more than a 5200CL40 kit. Really not that expensive for what it is honestly. It'll last me the entire platform life of this. I hold on to platforms for 4-6 years.

Got the motherboard for MSRP. Asus Tuf b650-Plus Wifi. Not the board I wanted. Would have preferred ITX so I could continue to use my NCase M1 V6. Unfortunately for Asus I'm not spending $500 on any motherboard let alone their ITX one that's missing features bigger boards have.

It seems like ITX at launch is not popular at all. MATX however has many more options. I would have preferred MATX but then I'd need a new case and not many good options around imo. So I'll use my old Define S for the ATX board I purchased as a stop gap for a year or two once prices come down.

Nice looking board. Gives off a good Militech Vibe (not a reference to CP2077).
I always used to like the TUF series boards.

It better be nice for the prices they charge!! :D

I have liked their past ones. I feel it's their best value series of products. Though I've pretty much only used ROG series simply because that's the only ITX lineup they ever offer.

I miss the original TUF Sabertooth series Asus used to do, IMO they looked quite swish.

And on a side note, Asus ROG Thor 1200w to replace my 850w.

That's a crazy old board. Makes me feel old remembering how often I would make mock builds(before PCPartPicker was a thing) with that board back when I was to young to work:p

I can go one better.

I had this one. Many moons ago. Loved it so much, for some ridiculous reason I bought two of them. Each one were apparently numbered from a limited run (probably a run of 20million boards :D

I only just realised it looks identical to the Z77 model. I think I had the Sabertooth P67 before that
