Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen to occur when enabled on some games and system configurations. Any users who may be experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround.

That is a known issue I've had that switched off since the start it might also be something, hard to say really, either way enjoy the cards guys if you get issues and find a fix let us all know.

I can't get mine to clock past 2550mhz i expected it to be able to go higher thou but rarely make it work at full tilt, it's generally just benchmarks and DXR titles where i get fan noise i like it that way tbh, plus at full tilt mine uses 332Watts :D

I didn't use enhanced sync but I'm still leaning towards a dud card, must say this 3080 is performing quite nicely so far I've no idea what it's clocking to but Star Citizen is the smoothest I've ever played it which is awesome IMO, the only thing is the 30 series is hotter than the 6000 series by about 5 degrees C. and it tends to get there faster too, over all I'm happy though.

My black screening came back with a vengeance. I boot into Windows, within 10 seconds screen goes black, and that's with enhanced sync off, in fact pretty much every option I can disable has been disabled, e-sync, anti-lag, etc. I also tried reverting to PCIE3.0 on the primary PCIE slot, no dice.

AMD, you hurtin' my fanboy feelings!

Send in bug reports and email AMD about it also and they might get around to sorting it

You using 2 PCIe power cables? Not the splitter? Should help as it's fixed some people's problems.

Also if possible try increasing your boards PCIe voltage. And make sure it's not auto as auto doesn't always supply enough

Yeah I split the 8 pins this evening, and while doing so think I found the culprit (for me anyways). Each of the 8-pin connectors on my TUF 6900XT has LEDs, so when I had the system down to separate the 8-pin power onto different cables, I noticed I could make one of the connector LEDs flash red by wiggling the PSU cable. So I think one of the connectors on the Corsair cables is wonky. That *might* have been the problem, or so I hope. Now that I've split the power, (and swapped the loose cable), it seems to be fine. Even got my highest Time Spy score ever after I re-tested, go figure (18,907).

If it's worth anything one of the updates from windows that came out around October caused black screen issues that also caused restarts and just instability. My laptop drove me mad when this happened. I reinstalled windows but it kept downloading the update so it kept happening every reinstall until I figured it out it was an update. They have since put out a new update that got rid of it in December I believe.

I been a bit crazy...

Just need some fresh clothes now.

I got some Sencha Kyoto Cherry Rose Green Tea for the mornings, and skull crusher coffee see how strong it really is, the coffee isn't here yet, picked up too many games to mention but one i've really enjoyed is Forza horizon 4 it's pretty fun to be sure :)

Warchild did you really need another monitor XD

Alien that is as your normal self complete overkill :D

I have nearly pressed the button on this multiple times the last couple of weeks.

Let us know how it runs :)

It takes a while to setup, uncalibrated its a little messy but after following what the tftcentral guys did, what can I say...

Oh my Lord!!!!

Godfall in HDR blew me away. I knew the screen had the best HDR on the market for pc monitors, but wasnt expecting this.

its a 200hz monitor, but for most games, I never reach that, so I dropped the settings to 144hz and threw it into full HDR. Unbelievable. My eyes looked like they say an angel hehe.

Tested Anno 1800 and can confirm what Linus saw. The FALD on the sea was a little annoying, but I tuned it out very quickly. I was seeing whisps of clouds and details I didnt see on my Odyssey G7.

Worth the price? debatable. If you can afford it, then go for it. I waited hoping for better to come along but its 2021 now and the only thing on the horizon were declassified Gsync ultimates, and 360hz monitors which mean nothing to me at 1080p. I don't regret the purchase one bit, my bank account does though. But with all the forced home office, and the lack of having to spend £100 on monthly travel cards, home office has helped me save alot. so figured, why not!

Mine has three dead pixels right in the middle near a crosshair in PUBG. Debating sending it back, but thinking about the logistics...

Other than that? I absolutely love it, enjoy yours dude.

Ed mine isn't the same as yours.

Yeah once you go HDR, it's something to see for the first time. With mine it was Horizon Zero Dawn that dropped my jaw. But a good big screen will last you years, as long as you don't have pixel issues. I never regret buying those.

Thing is, I had the Odyssey G7 HDR600 so i knew what HDR could provide, but this HDR1000 is just on a whole new level.

I tested Anthem... the details are beautiful. I wasted an hour just free roaming and looking around. Most of my eyes were on the after burner jets of the suit. Mesmerising :)

Time to put the G7 on the free ads page!

Finally going to be retiring my trusty old G510 after 8 long years and switch to a mechanical.

Ended up buying the Glorious GMMK since it's a hot swap for both keycaps and the switches so I can settle in and find the best setup for me. Don't have a photo yet because it's still in transit but I can't wait to dip into the mechanical pool.

Also, nabbed one of these for £70 brand new a couple of days ago:
