Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

49" is too wide for me. The G7 looks good but 2560x1440 and there are known flickering issues with all models apparently.

That was with the old models. Not sure about the new G7 or G9.

I personally don't like UW right now. 21:9 is just to slim. I would want at least a 21:10 for more vertical space. Just looks to narrow the way they are now

That's my reason for you not getting it. All up to you though. If you got the money and aren't hurting for it then screw it I guess

very few retailers. That price was the cheapest, and only retailer that has it available. And importing adds 36% extra onto total cost including shipping. So you Aussies aren't the only ones suffering.

I had to order my Valve index, pay in euros. Have it sent to Sweden, then sent to norway with higher cost shipping because norway is not EU, even though we are border countries, and then pay 36% tax on top of everything.

Imagine that, shipping from Sweden to Poland it costs 200kr. Shipping to a border country you can literally drive to in 30mins.... 600kr.

I would pick it up personally but since Sweden messed up totally on handling the corona virus, the country is on lockdown, or rather I dont want to go through quarantine when I get back.

Yeah mate seem like it deffo sux for you too, mate if you can then wait, I think you might kick yourself if you don't

I personally had ASUS monitors before, but I then got the LG 27GL850 monitor and love it. Couldn't go back to a VA really seeing how far IPS has come and will become in the future.

I wouldn't pay that amount even if I was a millionaire. Old tech and a big amount of that price is brand tax. I've personally come to dislike ASUS monitors, since also having loads of issues with them, QC related.

Nice !

Guy I know who sold me it, Who I know through my work, Sent it off yesterday, It's currently in London and will be delivered on Wednesday :)

While the resolution is the same as the Vive Cosmos which is quite high, I could not get used to the Cosmos due to the tiny tiny sweet spot on the lens so I think I spent maybe 2 hours with it in total due to this issue before getting a refund, What I'm most looking forward to though is not just the large sweet spot but the 130' FoV.

You're going to laugh soon. I'm testing the latest watch 3 prior to it's release.

Let's just say that when it comes out. You will be very happy with your purchase ;)

Thanks for the heads up buddy and I've gotta say I'm pretty happy with it and I got it rather cheap too, they normally sell for $650 here and I got mine slightly used for $400

No problem. I still use the Active 2 prototype as my every day watch. I just love the look at feel of it. The contents are almost the same as yours.
