Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

I think thats why my 750D I saw such big drops, 2x140mm as intake no rad blocking and bigger space inside then just 240 at top and one back fan, temps down 10C at idle. Thou not exactly a portable case or small :D

I don't mind big cases at all. So long as they offer better cooling. I was eyeing up the 5000D Obsidian, but could not find one cheap enough.

That's what they are for. This rig needs to be movable. RPGs need a lot of time, and I am done spending that amount of time at a desk. I have absolutely no doubt I would smash my 012 to pieces if I tried moving it around, hence this build.

I got most of it today. The case, fans etc. The cooler has been shipped RM 48, so hopefully Monday on that. I wanted a NVME as my U.2 needs an adapter to shove it into a NVME port, and the board would need the entire shroud removed and left off. Sod that.

I also want to vert mount the GPU. For two reasons. I have a 960gb Revodrive going in, as well as this.

And it kinda looks like ass in the old style. So, I got this.

As the case allows you to put the regular cards in, then use the vert mounted GPU to cover it all. Great thing is I always had it vert mounted before, and because of the remote rad it doesn't suffer one bit.

It's totally Toms fault for doing the Palit 4090 Gamerock OC review and totes not my willpower in question, All Toms fault....... :D also got a custom CableMod 12VHPWR with cable combs to tidy things up.

sE8sWVU.jpg

Made sure to take my time with cable routing to get it as clean as possible and also removed the stock Corsair stickers from the centre of all fans and replaced them with cut to size white carbon fibre vinyl, Just peel off the stock stickers, Trace round them on the vinyl and cut them out, Works a treat.

Why not just go Uni Fans and hence cut away like 90% of the cables? ^_^

Alien do you have a steam link ???

I have one i dont use atm, when i did have fiber and ethernet going to it that worked very well plus you dont need to only stream steam games can use it to stream the desktop so anything that is being used on the PC works and just able to use the controller.

guess it depends on the game but as much as i no longer use it as no fiber or ethernet cable running they are a nice bit of kit do not regret paying £4 for that, thou can do via other methods now even a mobile or smart app but i feel the link itself is far more stable.

Bah too easy and cheap lmao. And far too much common sense for me :D

Edit. What res do they do? Problem is I have a 75" TV and 1080p looks awful. Might get one for the bedroom though as it's a 50.

They work well, if you want it pm me and i can send monday hunt it out of my box of tricks.

sync generally just depends on your network being decent, which knowing you it is, it'll stream anything either via steam or desktop mode pretty much any controller that works on steam will work with it.

even get surround sound going through it, i have no use as i no longer have a router i just teather my 5g where ever i am in the house, i could run cable from my PC space to my bedroom but it's just too far really but they are very handy devices and generally work very well :)

Yeah might look into that for the bedroom. I'm hoping DI2 uses an older engine having been in dev heck for 8 years and will run really well, unlike Dying Light 2.

Man I've waited so dang long for this game, really starting to get excited now.

He mate I had that exact soundcard myself and whilst it does sound amazing their drivers are a complete ballache and I eneded up getting a refund on it so just be prepared for that!

Well poo, I missed one lol. For the cooler I got this. Half price also.

I doubt I will use two fans. I would have to raise the rear one to clear the huge VRM sinks. I don't think it needs it tbh. I won't use the other one either, that is what this is for.

wVOsNMO.jpg

So it's three Bora in the front, two on the rad in the roof, one in the rear exhaust and that on the cooler.

I used it for over a year with no problems. I only removed it from my gaming PC because I got the EVGA Nu Sound.

You're lucky then buddy as it gave me nothing but issues, and they have a tendency to take a long time before they do the latest drivers and such, still glad it's working well for you.

No idea mate. I had the red SBZ before that and it too was fine. Though it was the first SB card I bought in many years that actually worked on anything past XP.

I honestly think you must have had a bad card tbh. Even Asus's drivers work now.

Taken a bit of a punt on 4x 3tb drives not perfect health but cheap lol

It's mainly for older game storage so nothing sensitive or anything i cant lose plus saves me around £100 on perfect working 4x 4tb drives.

Toshiba DT01ACA300 4x3TB drives gives the sas card some extra work to do and if they fail in time no huge loss plus then i can focus on getting 3x 2tb crucial ssd's to fill out my system.

which will bring me upto 46.25tb's of space just need to work out where and how to place one of the 2tb ssd's as there is no bay for it but plenty of space in the case behind, one thing i like about the 750D tons of space getting the back panel on is so easy compared to any case i've had before, so far the sas card is doing totally fine now it has direct cooling :)

May or may not pick up resident evil 4 remake but atm been playing a fair chunk of ffxiv thou so far it's just been something to pass time the world is nice and the theme of the game but tbh the combat is dated and i'm finding it far too easy so i'll maybe only play this month already near level 50 so hopefully it'll get better but just questing and generally it's 7/10 atm not sure what the fuss is about if it doesnt improve.

Compared to lost ark or black desert and GW2 it has much to prove.

Drives are slowly getting filled up, but as for FFXIV i'm finding it kinda boring but i'll aim to fit it in somewhere each day and see if it gets better but idk what the fuss is about with the game in 50 levels bearly anything has happened and i'd already done the base part somewhere in the expansion but it's a yawn fest atm.

OK here goes. First up, bike parts.

NmjN3pj.jpg

Triple wall 90s rims, a set of hubs (48 spoke) with the rear having a Titanium axle, driver and freehub.

S1cYdar.jpg

Tyres, brake pads (NOS 90s) and some S&M OG Slam bars. These are all for a bike I am building. Slowly. Oh and spoke nipples like.

A new cap for summer.

QNn6hpR.jpg

An Odyssey X. And a new headset I picked up for £29.99 on a flash sale (usually £99)

7mmljWL.png

The headset is this one.

My xbox one refused to work with my PC through the controller, and was a freebie and thus crap. I got a 2m USB extension. Happy to have that wired, because my Xbox controller works great on BT.

W2b9CDd.png

It's an 011D one but will work fine.

Home stuffs. I am getting a new bed when I go home. Gonna rock a single, as my shoulder is f-ed and changing the duvet cover is getting close to impossible. Got a Hugo Boss set in dark blue.

25om6pA.jpg

Red sheets to go with that.

KUs7Nu5.jpg

A single luxury feather duvet.

DGqnQoN.jpg

I can't sleep with anything else. Some double cable levers for this bike I am doing.

And finally, for now, a new phone.

YDtruOM.jpg

It's an 11 Pro Max 64gb. It costed me £350. Apple renewed, grade A apparently. We shall see tomorrow. I got a real leather case for it too, 'cause those PU ones go nasty and sticky.

Basically over the past three years since I bought my ROG Phone 3 things have totally changed. I no longer use it for web browsing much at all, and mainly shoot videos for my YT channel now about my bikes. As such when the ROG Phone 3 started acting whacky last week and then continued this I decided on something that is more camera related.

The ROG Phone is stuck on Android 10. From day one Chrome will freeze, and you need to minimise it and go back to unfreeze it. Last week though it started opening Google Assistant and the bottom half of the screen was unresponsive. Problem is I can not upgrade it to a new Android to see if that fixes it because I don't have the non Tencent edition, don't know exactly what one it is and have 0 experience of flashing phones. So there would be a very real risk of bricking it, which would leave me without one completely.

I may, if you guys don't mind, ask for help and advice on that once the Iphone arrives. It is way out of warranty (I don't even think it had one being a Asia only model tbh) and so it won't matter so much.

Those leather cases are not very protective, basically all for looks and feeling luxurious. If you drop your phone, the screen will most likely crack. Due to that kind of case mostly protects the phone if it falls down flat, which it ever does. It usually lands on an edge and there there's not much to take the fall/impact.

I use a miracase on my iphone 13 mini it's glass front and back but has rubber all around very durable, you could have got a newer iphone and just gone contract for me i pay £12 unlimited everything and £22 for the phone still a higher cost than you paid but a good deal can be had for what you get long term, doubt i'll upgrade my phone even when the contract ends.

As for the Android and flashing it's not too hard really just might take you some time to look into it, your either flash it by the phone itself which is easier or use a tool and connect it to your PC, but like all things if it go's wrong then yes bricked, but that can happen with anything like that generally. I'd say first thing to do rather than flashing it is simply reset the phone to stock and start over see if the issue is the same like a factory reset style thing.

looking at getting bike parts myself in april just tyres etc so i can get out once warmer been sitting in cart for months, but the weather is still crap atm odd sunny day but wet and windy and still cold, miss the beach walks a lot.

camera wise you can't go wrong with an iphone sure the mp of them is lower but the software side of things makes a huge difference, more powerful than my first PC by a long way lol.

I do still feel once they sort out the battery issues with phones in a better way that in the long future they could replace the PC for most people, just wireless connections with screens and keyboard mouse controllers, they have the power to do a lot and plenty of space could be added for me it's the idea of that i had some 20 years ago i know it sounds a little extreme but they replaced most other things already.

Stop buying cheap leather cases then. Mine has a magnetic clasp and shaped exactly like above. Ive dropped it on tile flooring and case absorbed it all. If you look closer the case extends further than the phone to counter the very comment you are trying to say it fails at.

The stitched leather edge is not cheap and soft. It is there to withstand impact.
