Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Enjoy! I've only got the standard S21 but the 120Hz screen is bliss.

both the S21 and S21+ are amazing devices. Sadly overpriced, but for a long time I always rated Huawei or OnePlus as better performing devices. This time round the S21 series really has proved me wrong.

Our inhouse benchmarking has it performing way higher than the rest, even with Exynos 2100 SoC. Exynos was never that great, until now.

Congrats to the both of you :)

Wow that's an expensive phone. I thought my ROG phone 3 was expensive but that bugger costs double.

Thanks peeps can say though so far it's pretty amazing, when I was transferring everything from my old phone and without a cable too I might add, it was so fast I was amazed, it also connects to my bluetooth in the car much faster than the S10 I had, and the call quality is way improved when using the Galaxy Watch.
I've not tried the camera system on it yet but the reviews claim it's pretty impressive so I have that to look forward to, but yeah so far I'm happy with it.

Just got myself the S21 Ultra and Watch 3.

Got to wait for the Cashback thing to go through, but should get apparently £280 back.

So far happy with both and now I have a case of Amazon with a slide for the Camera's that protects them when it's closed, I don't have to worry about scratching or cracking a camera.

I'm suspecting my phone has an issue, went to bed on about 87% battery, left it on in standby and the bloody thing was dead flat this morning :(

I wouldn't think too much of it, likely some misbehaving app. Go to settings -> search for battery -> choose battery -> touch the graph -> last 7 days -> click yesterday's bar and it'll show you worst offenders.

Ok did that and it says battery used during calls 5% google play services 4.8% KIS 4.1% and the rest less than a % so from what I can see nothing used all the battery  thanks for the tip though buddy.

That does sound like a faulty battery. Seems its discharging physically rather than through battery usage.

Seems par for the course for me if it has a fault then I'm sure to receive it, I'll just keep an eye on it and if it occurs to much then I'll rma it.

Doesn't happen to be an S9 either? Mine has been doing the same for roughly 2 weeks now with the UI crashing a lot as well and getting a touch toasty

No S21 Ultra, it didn't happen with my S10 previously and interestingly whilst it uses more than the S10 it didn't misbehave last night it still showed 70% this morning.

Id return it. My S21 prototype didnt burn through the battery that much and that one is very unoptimised.

Alternatively, you could try one complete factory set and wipe everything, just to ensure its not some virus. (there is a massive amount of UK phones currently infected with flubots sending SMS to all destinations abroad without the users awareness)

Just in case I ran a full scan with Kaspersky and Malwarebytes and the phones showing clear but if it mucks up again I won't stuff around I'll send it back to Samsung.

I have noticed the battery does not seem great on these phones.

I charged mine to 100% yesterday and whilst I don't use it a great deal, mainly music in the car and watching YouTube whilst occupied in a certain room, the battery is currently at 66%.

I reckon it will be down to 40% by around 6pm today.

Well interestingly enough it was saying it was learning and optimizing and I went to bed on 82% and woke up this morning on 78%, it's slowly getting better not worse, so I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens.

Do you have adaptive battery on? That is supposed to make it "smart" in that it gives full power when using it heavily but once it's not being used it essentially goes into a sleep mode and stops apps that aren't being used often from running to further help battery life.

Idk if Samsung has this. Stock Android (pixels) do. Battery optimization should also be turned on, unless you want a specific app to be running all the time(optimization is per app and overrides adaptive battery)

Thanks NBD I've checked and it is set to adaptive battery turned on and the battery seems to be getting better slowly but surely

It's the refresh rate. I had mine on full and my battery life tanked. I lowered it to 120 and it's better, but my phone goes through the battery fast and it's huge in MAH terms.

I've not gamed on it much. I just like fast phones with high refresh.

Got tired of all the "gaming" crap from Corsair, Roccat, Razer etc... so decided to splurge, Reserved my GMMK Pro mechanical keyboard for the next batch, I chose -

-Brass plate
-Lubed Glorious Panda switches
-Black slate GPBT keycaps
-Aviator coiled USB-C cable.

Never understood the point of those cables, looks like an old telephone cable that uses an quick-disconnect fitting from an watercooling loop lol. Absolutely horrible looking, not minimlastic nor clean at all, which is what those small keyboards are designed with in mind, in my opinion.
