Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Wicked. Let me know how programming the screen goes ! I must get around to that on my Kingpin :)

Really easy, Go into Paint, Make a 256x64 size image, Do what you want with it then save it as a gif and use MSI's Dragon Centre to upload it to the card.

Wow, I'm jealous. I'm very much after a Lightning myself. Always had a soft spot for them! Congrats :)

Really loving this thing, Performance is way up in VR but the thing that surprised me is it's REALLY quiet.

Obviously you need to stick "RTX 3080" there and post it to reddit.

lmao that's awesome

I want mine to say "Not a 3090"

Nah, I went the true nerd route...

Hehe

I'd put "This card was in stock" on it

Nice acquisition though Dice! Looking good in there.

Thank you, Yeah it's really nice, It'll do me until Nvidia release their 4000 series next year, Honestly cannot be bothered with anything else, Just too much hassle, I don't think I'll consider AMD GPU's again either unless their software suite and game implementations really starts to advance to Nvidia's level and unless AMD pull a literal magic rabbit out of a hat I can't see RDNA2 being their saviour either.

Wow, only just got that after about 4 hours of seeing it. FFS...

I hereby nickname you Trigger :D

TBF if you don't care about RT then you are sorted. Even with it and DLSS you are sorted.

It's hilarious how many people seem to think these cards are all of a sudden useless. At anything less than 4k Turing is still within spitting distance of the 3080 due to the architecture of Ampere. People assumed it was CPU bottlenecks, it wasn't.

I've also seen many people on OCUK posting threads stating their cards are not working properly because they are not matching the reviews... Hmmm, how strange !

But yeah, if I still had my Titan XP and didn't have an itchy arse it would still be more than enough for me, let alone the 2080Ti.

Until games make that true generational leap and or every one all of a sudden has a 4k monitor GPUs are simply not aging. Not like they used to.

1440p is still considered by every one to be the sweet spot, and IIRC ultra wide is more popular than 4k still.

I game on an Ultrawide, I have seen plenty of games at 4K on a 4K monitor and while they can look very nice, The difference between 1440P and 4K is less aliasing the majority of the time, For me 3440x1440 is where it's at.

Bunch of connectors to complement a plethora of Chinese stuff I've impulse bought for Raspberry pi. Maybe I'll finally get around to building a boombox with some smarts.
