Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

This goes in my RIG monday and my loyal poorly EVGA 1080Ti SC Black Edition wings its way back on a long winded RMA. Been a while since I've had a red team card but these bad boys are pulling some real punches and at a lowly £375 it's a great spare card to have plus a free copy of Ghost Recon. Win win.

Yeah they're great cards just be prepared for the fact that Ghost Recon Breakpoint is pretty broken though it's not a AAA title by any stretch of the imagination although it does look nice.

Galaxy Watch Active 2 4G - A bit pricy but now I don't need to take my phone with me when I am out running.

Setup was simple using a Pixel 4 XL and it shares the same data plan & telephone number as my mobile phone.

Welcome to the club. I'm still using the prototype version but the battery life is far, far better after all the complaints!

It's exercise recognition could be improved though. But definately the best Samsung have released so far. Are you using a leather strap with it? Interesting choice for running :D

Still haven't decided on which strap to buy, any recommendations, leather is good for work though ?

Battery seems ok, just did a 1 hour run and started with the battery at 100%, was streaming music from Spotify and had Strava running too and gps in high accuracy mode. Got back home and was on 38%.

yeah we (that is mobile networks) have all been working with Samsung to improve the software build. its far more optimised now!

personally I use the default strap. Its a little of an Apple rip off, but sweat wise/comfort and tightness is perfect for me. Leather is nice for work of course. But not a nice feel when training. Will end up damp too.

I think overall silicon is the way to go.

It'll only decrease as he gets older.

I await 7 second itch lol.

Nice hardware though. I'd have gone that route but I didn't have the extra £400 or so.

As I said in the other thread though it's still a massive upgrade for me :)

Actually I would have been screwed. I am using 32 lanes just in PCIE SSDs. Then another 16 for the CPU and gawd knows what else I may add before this is said and done.

Lovely.

I've got some pure pron on my phone for you guys to see soon.

I can't find a safe trustworthy image site on my phone that gives you BB links. Imgur certainly doesn't.

The first sentence implies it's something everybody here would love computer related.. like peeling the plastic off a computer part..

The last sentence implies it's actually pron because you need it to be safe and trustworthy. So I'm a little hesitant to want to know what you mean :D

Back on the all AMD bandwagon... ^_^

It's rather funny how often you order, RMA and switch hardware lol. I remember once when I was known for returning much stuff, I'm pretty sure you're the king of hardware switching by now around here ^_^

Woohoo, go Alien go!

Block fitted fine. Bolts were a bit tight through the acrylic though.

I suspect they're 3mm holes with the 3.5mm TR bolts.

I also made up a new standalone 4 pin, or overclocking is out. That's all braided and fitted and I had to rewire the entire RGB system but that's all running now.

The luckiest bit was getting that u.2 plug through that hole. Of that didn't fit I'd have lost that drive.

Gotta finish the drain tomorrow and clean and do some assembly work also. Then when the fp extensions arrive I can start building.

But yeah, did all of the niggly fiddly crap today.

One thing that did make me laugh. I spent £12 on that Hydronaut. "Does 4 applications". Yeah, not on a bloody threadripper it don't! I just about managed one go.
