Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

It is quite nice, The cable management for the PSU and various controllers like the Corsair Commander Pro etc.... is so much better than the 570X, I haven't got it in hand yet but it is ordered and I have seen it first hand at a friends place, I do have to agree that the case market has gotten pretty meh lately though.

Yeah it's pretty stale. Only company that's really doing anything way different is phanteks with the shift series. Even then it's super major compromises. Even then their cases are pretty bad in my experience.

Honestly just want to go back to fractals stuff for itx but I'm kinda over the plain simple design and their cases specifically have gotten more expensive at every level and they have basically resigned to making spin offs of the Define series.

So today I took delivery of a BenQ EX3501R, 21:9, 3440x1440, 35", 100hz, Freesync monitor.

I've been wanting to go ultrawide for about a year now, so I made an impulsive decision this week, and now it's here. I can't wait to get home and try this out. First game will be Elite Dangerous I think.

Have fun, Personally couldn't bring myself to spend nigh on £2000 on a GPU that will be outdone the following year by something that costs 1/3 the price, It's why I stopped buying Titans ^_^

What do you mean outdone the following year? These cards are not meant to last that long. True purpose is to buy them, put them under LN2, extract the living Hell out of them, and in that process blow them up. They should never last until the next year. :)

Joking aside, and the fact that these aren't meant for mere mortals I actually do like the idea of full on, balls to the wall, over the top system. Pair this with Z390 Dark, pretested, delidded, direct die 9900K, fastest sticks of memory known to man. Put all that under water with 2x480mm rads, and then overclock everything to the bleeding edge. Or for those in the special ward go with X299 Dark, 9990XE, 2 of these babies in SLI, and stick 905p in there just because. Ohohoohoho.

If you are going to put this in SRIX-E board with 5 GHz still soldered CPU... You are missing the point, and actually need a doctor's appointment.

i really wanted a matrix (yep asus fan boy)but i manage to get this for the same price , the only thing that stung was the cost of the block , i'm not brave enough to put it under ln2 but i will be trying my best to push it under water with enough cooling

I also like ASUS stuff, but they disappointed a bit with RTX cards. All of them have low power limits. 325W for STRIX OC, 360W for MATRIX. Come on! Galax OC has 380W, Gigabyte Gaming has 366W. Just with BIOS settings. No mods. Kingpin is a monster with 520W, and a special BIOS with no power limit at all.

Been working on a frame over the past couple of weeks.

It just goes crazy in the light. The more light the more transparent, to the point you can see the silver base coat.

I've got all of the parts too, so as soon as I am done in the loft (flooring out two sections for a BMX asylum) I can get to building.

I also bought a 2018 Dave Mirra tribute bike I've had my eye on since it came out.

Just couldn't afford the RRP but a company worked with me to get it down to less than half price. Very happy, will take pride of place in the new rooms.

I also bought this (Jimmy Levan's sig model from 2001) on the cheap.

Like stupid cheap. Not much more required than stripping, cutting and cleaning, painting the bars and replacing the damaged brake levers. Another one for the asylum haha.

It's not a recent purchase, but it is something I've recently built. My housemate bought me a kit to build a bass a few years back. I prepared the body pretty quickly, but the project went on the back burner with life getting in the way, as it does. I finally got the push to finish it a few days ago, so here it is.

Now I just need to learn how to play the thing. I've already got the Feel Good Inc. intro down. It's all up from here.

Love the colour. Its got that Smoked Green look that the Ibanez EDR470 Ergodyne used to use back in the day. I loved it, as well as the moonsilver.

Very cool Dice.

I plan on a chasis change as well. Completely throw out the crappy Entho ITX case I got and switch to the Ncase M1. Just waiting for it to go back into stock.

Just looked for that M1 case, Looks great !

I did have the Corsair 570X before but there was so little room behind the motherboard tray for cables, Especially if you have Corsair RGB fans, Those come with a metric butt ton of wiring, The 680X is a nice upgrade from my all time fave case the 540 and is very nice to build in, Plus it looks quite posh with it's silver cylindrical feet ^_^

I don't keep up with hardware really anymore including cases. So tbh I hardly know what the 570x or even 680x look like but I'll believe you :D
Yeah I originally wanted the Louqe Ghost S1 but it's super expensive, hardly in stock ever, and from what I hear there are plenty of complaints with customer support and just trying to get simple updates. So definitely not interested anymore.
Plus I already have to buy a SFX PSU for the M1 so really I'm glad I chose the M1 as even with the PSU it's still cheaper and I don't have to buy a new cooler and replace my AIO on top of that. So I save a lot more money and the M1 seems to be one of the best ITX cases for temperatures. Which I have a struggle with now so it's exactly what I wanted. Plus it will have a USB C front header towards the end of rear and that is something I really want. I am tired of waiting for the big case companies on providing updates for those and since there is no ITX cases that are decent from the big comapnies leaves me no choice.

Little custom cover for the bottom of the Corsair 680X, Cleans up the interior nicely :)

I’m assuming from the link, that you got it from ColdZero?...

Just keep in mind if you’re running high end components, the M1 case itself may/will get very hot. It got so hot that when I touched it, I almost got a burn from it (atleast the top part/section). Hence why I personally changed from it back to ATX, as I realised that temps will never be in an area where I’ll be or feel comfortable. This is coming from someone who has tried most of the small ITX chassis, Corsair 250D, Dan Case A4 SFX, NCASE M1, Cougars ITX case.

Found a Ryzen 7 3800x in stock and was able to order! Should be here by Thursday. Still need to decide on RAM and I have heard nothing about the ROG Crosshair VIII Impact board from ASUS.

Nice!!! I am personally waiting on the next gen GPUs from AMD/Nvidia. My 8700k is fine as it is and there aren't any ITX boards I am impressed with so far. So no point in Ryzen and shall wait till something catches my interest.
Should be more than enough for whatever next stuff comes out. Don't want RTX as the value isn't great and no point in getting them for any RTX features. Navi is good but not the performance I wanted from AMD.
