Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Bought a new smart phone, finally! It's only my second smart phone ever (because I'm old). Went from my first, an old Droid Moto 3 that I paid $150CDN for (refurbished), to a brand new OnePlus 6T. Ho lee poop, what a difference a good screen makes!

Good choice. Oneplus 6T is my fav test phone here. Far less bloatware than the others, and ships with almost default android Ios with very little manufacturer tweaking or modifying.

Yeah it seems like it has no bloatware at all. Plus the camera is bloody amazing for a phone. Maybe it's the old guy mentality, but having an 8 core phone with a camera that can record 4K video at 60FPS is insane to me. Video looks great, still pics look great. I am uber impressed with this thing, except for the price.

Actually the price is also better than most smart phones. More for Less.

Top notch choice! I've got the OnePlus 6 and absolutely love it, only phone to tick every box that doesn't cost the earth to buy SIM free.
There is pretty much no bloat at all, most of the OnePlus apps can be uninstalled which is really nice too. OnePlus make some of the best phones on the market right now, especially regarding value.

I am in love with the Oneplus 7 right now. Been testing a prototype with a special bundle. Outstanding, that is a fact. Samsung only succeed due to popularity. I just wish Oneplus could market their product better because it deserves the limelight.

A OnePlus 7 Prototype!?

You son of a....

Perks of my job. Only thing I havent got my hands on in todays rumour market are the Mate X fold, Galaxy Fold and an NDA mobile I can't even mention period, which will have a special Qualcomm stack to enable volte roaming. Imagine calling your mate in Spain, call connected in less than a second, and perfect crystal clear quality ;)

Even facebook messenger or whatsapp takes a few seconds to establish :D

nah mate. Ikea ones are terrible. I didnt find a single one that was comfortable. On top of that, they use their own unique dimensions, along with bed sheets meaning you cant go to another store for the bed sheets as they are not standard sizes.

Ikea are fantastic for furniture, but awful for anything related to the bed.

Yup your memory is bad haha. It was you, and you were spot on.

Decided i needed a new mouse for the recent system build , as i can't get on with my old marble mouse anymore.
So i took a page out of alienALX book B grade purchase :)

Gigabyte Aorus 2080 ti Extreme - Its got Samsung memory thank god, hovers around 1950-2015mhz in Timespy Extreme with +100 on the core and +1100 on the memory.

The software for the rgb is terrible.

Its pretty close to my glass panel but temps are surprisingly not getting higher the low 70s which is a good sign although I do have a custom fan curve.

Flogged my 1080ti for 500 quid on local ads site, sold within the hour of putting it online suprisingly as there are some brand new 1080 ti's going for about 580 on amazon.

Now I just need to mod that corsair memory so it is red ! ! Any ideas ?

something wrong with my motherboard audio as its causing my speakers to pop and crackle. borrowed my brother's Xonar STX to see if it resolves it... and it did.

I wanted the STX but there aren't any used ones going round :(

I did. I even fitted new arm pads to my Humanscale but it's blue. I know I know, it's just a chair but it's the centrepiece of the entire room which is a kitchen at one end and living room at the other and it sits right in the middle.

The Humanscale is also broken and has been since it was 3 days old when I broke the arm mech (my fault) so I had to bind it with paracord and it looks like ass.

I won't divulge how much I've spent on my new flat because I don't know but if I added it up I'd probably die of heart failure, but it's too much to have a chair slapped in the middle that honks.

I ain't gonna lie the Embody was bum stingingly expensive but it was the only chair that bests my Humanscale.

I almost bought a leather Humanscale but didn't want to spend so much on a chair I already had, with a flimsy arm mech.

A cisco EHWIC-VA-DSL-A VDSL2 modem for my 1921 router. This will get around needing the white openreach modem, or it will when I can figure out the necessary config to make it work.

Gotta say though. Chair looks comfy. Im still rocking my Noble chair and padding/supports rest are still not losing their form. Guess you get what you pay for, and as you said before, seats are important.
