Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

it seems to be, obviously it'll be £600 not ~£430

ive just spotted the 780 Classy for £460, i paid £570 for mine 4 days ago :(

4 days ago... You're well within your rights to return yours, faulty or not ;)

A friend of mine just returned his 3 day old 290x and got a 7990 for £370. No questions asked at Scan.

shadow play is the game recording thing ain't it?

yeah, actually less of performance hit than using Afterburner, although using quicksync codec is brilliant, but the video quality isnt that good, with shadow play its actually quite good

yeah i know i can return it, but i waited so long to get a gpu and like the hassle of waiting and stuff, i got used to accepting the fact once you spend your money on anything hobby related its written off.

take it as a lesson learnt

Just got this

Not exactly a purchase and not a project log so I decided to put it here, recently I started Uni and found myself not having myself any room to work in peace and comfortably, so I decided I needed a desk, after consulting with my dad we went to buy the materials needed and in less than ~8 working hours it was done!

YES! I will fix the cables at the bottom of the desk, I'm really anal about cables so the extension will be mounted on the wall and the cable cut exactly to size, I will find a way to hind them cables :)

That, along with the wall paint looks bloody epic mate :D

Needed to replace the fans on my radiators, and needed some splitter cables and a fan controller so decided on pay day to order them.

Got them fitted this morning but here they are before I fitted them.

8x Akasa Apache Black 120mm fans
8x 4 Pin extension cables
4x 4 Pin to 3x 4Pin adaptors
1x Scythe Kazemaster II

The temps from left to right are:

1: Ambient
2: Temp inside Top Rad
3: Temp inside Bottom Rad
4: Temp behind the motherboard tray

Putting together my first airsoft loadout. Very very gradually mind. Picked up these...

Fun fact. I found out after buying them that the trousers are the same one the rock wear in fast and furious :p

Very nice. I don't know what you'd call it where you are, but in the US you can buy PVC "wire way" or "wire duct" to run wires in. You'd mount it on the bottom of the desktop. I'd use the slotted sided and L brackets to mount is sideways. Excess cable can be kept in it rather than having to cut cables. Lay it all out and loop back. I used it at my last job all the time. I used to be very meticulous, but I'm pretty sloppy at home.

;) -edit due to sleepiness- A 4930k is now mine!

One of my Bicycles went for quite a bit of money so I decided to celebrate by spending the majority of it in one go.

Ooops I thought I said what it was :l. It is a 4930k :D. I'm getting it due to a) always wanted one and b) UDK/video rendering stuff. My 8320 is going to go in my project rig I've decided as I'd rather not have a ~£450 cpu get ruined by my first custom loop. I'll get the mobo for it after Christmas as I have my eyes set on a new 'card at some point in the next two months.
