Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Well not getting a small form factor build anymore for ease of transport to the states as I managed to get a nice deal on shipping my stuff over in a very well cushioned container ergo I bought myself the MSI Gaming Pro Carbon, Hell of a sexy mobo.

I was going to do a WC build for the 1800X but ended up selling the rad, Pump, Block etc.... to a workmate as I'll be getting the EVGA AIO kit for the 1080 Ti but modding it to remove all EVGA branding ^_^

Still looks like a christmas tree lighting effect :D:D:D

yeah he chickened out. Much anticipation destroyed... Man up Dice and get that stuff underwater.

Yup I was going to call him chicken and do all the bock bock etc :D

I can't be too hard on him though. I was 42 when I did my first water cooling :D

I did get my idea from you ^_^

Oh cool man :)

I don't remember how I did it now. Like, got the black to fit down the middle so well. I don't think I cut it with the plotter but can't for the life of me remember how I got it to fit.

Hmm, possibly measured the straight part down the middle, cut a length and then did the angled bits?

Dude, your new rig is a lot like mine :D good choice!

Also building a "new" rig using older hardware to run XP and old games on it. It will also be were I start experimenting with water cooling loops as well rather than going straight on my main rig

I was expecting to have to set the ram up manually but once I put the latest Bio's in it A-XMP profile 2 auto set everything, the only issue I have is corsair link doesn't see the ram so I can't put it on static.

I did my bit of watercooling on my 2500k when I OC'd it and my GPU, when I upgraded the gpu I took the loop out as I'd turned all the OC off it didn't need it, and 480 rad seemed overkill for a stock 2500k

So you're running the full 3200MHz? You're lucky on that, mine is running profile 1 at 2993MHz, if I enable profile 2 it just POST loops until the BIOS resets it. I think the May AGESA will fix it though.

Aye 480mm is overkill for a 2500K if you had a 9350 it was probably "just" enough :D

Weird your latest bio's 7A32v13 has the same AGESA as mine, as soon as I put that in and I tried profile 1 and it wouldn't get 3200 did 2 and it went right with clocks and voltage, I take it you tried manual setting of clocks and voltage

Tried the profile and the manual setup and kept getting the loop regardless, I've read somewhere that apparently adjusting the voltage +/- 0.05-0.1V can make it work, but right now I'm not terribly bothered, if it still doesn't work after the next update I'll definitely be doing some troubleshooting again
