Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

After I got a refund for the Swift I used the cash to put towards a good 4K 60Hz IPS monitor, The Dell P2715Q, I don't think I'll touch G-Sync monitors again I seem to have incredibly bad luck with them plus I don't think I'll ever touch non IPS monitors ever again ^_^ -

In my experience Dell uses quality panels. Build quality can be a bit wonky at times but not in generell. Dell support is supposed to be top notch.

Dell + IPS doesn't make it bullet proof sadly. I've heard of plenty of uniformity and dead pixel issues, having said that they are still my monitor of choice.

At least with Dells service I''ll get a new monitor if it goes bad not one that's covered in dirt and has made a round trip of the UK ^_^

Still annoys me that Asus sent me someone's RMA that literally had dirt on it and absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke.

I just bought the f1.4 Kambo is that the new f1.8 or the first one? I must say from what I have seen from the f1.4 so far you are going to get some nice shots with that and the Bokeh hmmmm. Oh and I just got the 60mm macro too if you don't have one can seriously recommend. Here's a pic I took with it

I got the mark 2 version, I was gonna get the 1.4, but I'll never need to use it at that f, that macro shot looks amazing! I may get a macro at some but it's not a priority, I'm quite happy with my 24-70 and the 50 should make a nice addition as well, I use the 18-55 sometimes, but the 24-70 spends 90% of the time attached to my body

Yeah the Markii is supposed to be an improvement on the first its quieter and smoother, I now have the 50mm, 60mm macro, 55-250 and 100-400 L lens but your 24-70 sounds like a wide angle is it and what are the shots like? And it wouldn't hurt to get a good macro as from what I've seen they not only do macro but are good for portraits too as well as other interesting bokeh and stuff so might be worth investing in one one day

I really need to learn how to use my wifes D5100. Since you guys seem a damn sight more competent than me, do you have any guides for noobs? As for new purchases, my 780 Classy has been installed, and my GRID+ arrived this morning as well.

All that's needed now is some cable sleeving and some cable combs and it'll be done, for a while at least.

Nice rig fella. I would put black fans on and change that silver/white plate though. Flat black would look epic.

Ta! I did consider getting different fans, but given the fact that the outside of the case is white, I decided on white fans and keeping the panel white to give things a bit of balance. I wouldn't mind trying to stealth the SSD's with black covers though, especially as they aren't a matching pair.
