Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

It was an example, but even then. I don't see any benefits to using it. What's the point in uncapping then capping the framerate? It's also increasing input lag when it comes on since that's just how v-sync works.

The point is quite simply really and really does make a difference.

Little 5 minute video explains it nicely.

Honestly really helps on 60Hz monitors, It's a god send infact it's just a shame AMD don't have this but I'm hopeful as it's literally just a driver update :)

In AMD defense(i know i do this a lot lol) they did introduce the Frame Rate Target in the 15.17 driver update. So basically you can tell the GPU the max target to hit and it will stay below that. Like for me, i OC'd my monitor so it's at 75hz and I set my target to 75 and while it does go over it, it quickly backs down but that's because the games I play aren't very demanding at all. So it's essentially the same thing but it's not done the same way.. kinda like Freesync and Gsync.. i'm sensing a trend here lol

Only bad thing about the FRTC is that it ends at 90fps.. wish it went to 144fps. Not that I need it but some people without freesync but 120hz+ might want it.

Dis ho is expensive! :D

Bitch you know dis da real deal ya feel ? :D

Lemme know how you like it and if it has any coil whine.. I kinda want to sell my 390x and just get the Asus Fury, I have a feeling MSI will be making a Fury Lightning so kinda holding out for that:)

Will do, They all pretty much have coil whine but that's not what bothers me, It's the loud pump whine, Hopefully I'll get one with the updated pump :)

I am hoping Sapphire will make a Vapor X fury myself then I might be tempted

But ima let you feel my slippery eel and make you squeal!

I've never had an AMD driver issue. Not even when I followed your driver guides and did it my own way. It has to be user error.. Only driver issues i got were when OC'ing and it wasn't stable.
.

You've obviously not ran Crossfire then.

I have to say I've had very few issues with AMD single cards (funnily enough not as many as NVidia..) but Crossfire is by far the worse 2+ card solution. The Fury X is showing promising gains but I very much doubt AMD will get better with multiple cards over night. To their credit they did eventually fix the massive microstutter issue they had with the 7xxx cards in Crossfire. Eventually.

I'm still not a massive fan of them either. Then again I prefer inept over plain 'evil' so I guess they are slightly more favorable.
