Yeah, an SSD is probably the most cost effective performance upgrade i have made. Only problem now is i want another so i can stripe and double the speed lol.

Got this yesterday to replace my ageing 2006 imac.

This will be my main system so unless i'm not gaming on the pc, i'll be able to do more folding on it

nope went ahead with just the 500gb drive.
I'll be getting the adaptor where i'll be able to add a SSD as the OS drive and the 500GB as a storage drive

Just purchased 2 KRK R6 Passive studio monitor speakers.

This came in this morning...

But i am sending it back on Monday because of the crappy paintjob. Alphacool really needs to gear up their quality check.
I bought six Alphacool rads since June 2012, 3 of them (this one included) had to be sent back.
I encountered scratches, paint flaking off, but this one is really a joke...
I think it had some paint problems when they finished spraying it, so they sanded the problem spots smooth but they didnt respray after that. Just slapped on the stickers ans packaged it.
So depending on the angle from which you look at it, you see all the sanding marks, and the colour goes from black to some king of grey...
Alphacool is not far away from going on my 'not to buy" list.
Its a bit sad because i like how their rads perform but the finish on them is just terrible...(personal opinion and experience)
A bit dissapointed Alphacool...

DO SOMETHING !!!

Edit: I cant take pics of the problem spots because my low-end cam doesnt pick them up.

it takes me ages to buy things, im one of them people that will have 50+ tabs open of everything i like with reviews if applicable, then ill ring someone and discuss the products i wish to purchase :lol:

then ill close all the tabs deciding i dont want them at all, then ill be bored 3 hours later and buy everything i looked at before LOL!!
