There is a lot to be said about warrantys so I dont blame you dude for the "peace of mind you will get" :)

Nowadays if I ever buy pc components I get them from OCUK I won't go anywhere else even if they are cheaper ^_^

I'll be Ordering a Dell monitor next week myself :)

Back when my £300 Dell PC broke, they did arrive next day and he spent three hours to work out that one of the RAM modules was faulty. Slow but steady.

From a business side of things my work has pretty much declared a fatwa on them as they constantly messed up with every stage, it was almost comical.

I'd still be a bit hesitant with Dell seeing how patchy they can be.

With an Alienware they do the diagnostics online dude. Basically some guy logged into my laptop, ran heaven and saw that the GPU fan was dead. I got a whole new mobo lol.

They were very good (Dorset). They replaced a keyboard and the lighting was odd so they came back and replaced it again. Can't speak highly enough in all fairness.
