Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

That was exactly how I fell into it, I needed something new. I had a go on my friends last week, and it is something else, the closet you will ever get to flying. The best place to start is Hobbyking, they have a European warehouse in Holland, and they have a sale that has just started running until midnight on Sunday.

Sadly unless I can find someone inside Norway to sell it, its a no for me as they rip us off on import tax. Even for 167quid id still have to pay about 50 ontop of that in tax plus the extra cost in shipping to outside of EU. Might have money to waste, but im not wasting it on Taxes! hehe

OK just ordered some new computer stuff

I recently saw Chris Harris' video where he visited the facility where the Bloodhound SSC land speed record car is being built. As an engineering student, I was of course fascinated by all the beautiful carbon fiber and machined alu parts and I really like projects like this where they push the boundaries of what's possible.
So I decided to support the project and have my name go 1000 mph on the car's tail fin

Ordered this yesterday off Amazon to go with my Nexus 6, and it was delivered just before 6PM tonight...

I have to say it is a really nice case, just doesn't like cards in the slots as it pushes out the lining too much and creates a small gap around the edge of the case, although this isn't too much of a problem for me as I never use them :D

***EDIT***

Having the buttons on side of case is a really nice touch, that press on the phones buttons and it makes it a lot easier to use them opposed to the usual where you have to access the recessed phone buttons through a cut out piece in the side wall of the plastic of the case.

OMG dat E18

Yep :D
Not out for a couple of weeks but it will be worth the wait.
I'm going to be using it as an external soundcard for my PC as well as a portable DAC/amp for my phone. It has some good features, you can even use it to charge your phone.

After about 8 months of using a budget kb/m combo I've gone big

Not really a purchase I guess. My cable company made an offer to lock my cost in for 2 years if I came back to them for TV service, I had phone and net. Been with them 15 years, saved a lot going dish for TV a couple years, but after the discount went away and sweeping snow off the dish got damn old, I'm back with cable for the Triple Play...phone, net, TV. The deal saves me $50.00 US a month. They gave me everything and raised my download speed. The Gateway is huge, 26.5 cm X 26.5 cm X 5.5 cm. It is a Cisco XB3. I do the net via Ethernet on the computer and I'm using the 5G transceiver for my WiFi for my phone. I was shocked I get the same speed on my phone as I do via computer. They don't do the same speed up and down here in the US. The 2.4G transceiver is set-up for guests.

Just a small step but 2 moar cores! Come to daddy FC4 and GTA V, also for beta testing purposes. Bargain all in all £80 :) Plus having seen JR's benches on Chocolate box I'm pretty happy with this little purchase, I know it's not a K but that comes later this year. So say hello to my new little friend, sorry G3258. you have, and always shall be my friend.

Not a Xeon then? Nice purchase! That CPU will definitely be enough for GTA V :)

To be honest, I purchased a 4790k and haven't even contemplated overclocking. Mine is still stock. You got yourself a quaint little deal there.
