Tbh mate quad fire doesnt scale well, in some instances your fps may be better, once vsync is on anything over 60fps is lost anyways, and your eyes cant see over 30fps either.

Long and short of it you will probs not gain anything by buying anything else

Tom, the 30fps comment is incorrect.

There was a video floating around that showed a game split with 30fps one side and 60fps the other, and you could definitely tell that the 60fps one was a lot smoother. I can't find the vid now, and I don't think youtube allows 60fps video so I can't find it to show you properly.

A good way to demonstrate; I don't know if you have an old CRT about, but if you set that to 60Hz and look at it out of the corner of your eye, you can see it flickering, and setting it to 70hz reduces that flicker a lot. So you can definitely perceive a difference a lot higher than 30fps.

What ever happens matey with vsync enabled on a 60hz monitor anything over 60fps is wasted.

I didn't question that bit, I was saying there's a big difference between 30 and 60fps though.

The 60hz and 70hz was just an example to show that you can still perceive framerate changes at much more than 30fps.

I will need every fps I can get, as I will be running at 3840*1024 as much as I can (monitors refresh set to 75Hz though - but point taken).
