please help me with corsair fans picking which is best for me

the fractals are dead quiet, just dont move a fair amount of air.. the corsair fans trade a lil
of the silence for air performance.

The fractals my mate got on his R3 were pretty loud. As said didnt shift that much air, but I never use stock fans anyway... (until noctua bring out a case)

...but then I probably wouldnt want a prosthetic arm beige case :)

fractal has 3 fans available:
OE case fans these are usually
120 - 1000rpm - 33cfm - 10dbA
140- 1000rpm - 35cfm - 12dbA
Silent
120 - 1000rpm - 35cfm - 15dbA
140- 800rpm - 39cfm - 9dbA
R2
120 - 1200rpm - 40cfm - 15dbA
140- 800rpm - 65cfm - 19dbA

the first cases i have had an OEM fan and the later cases
ive had shipped with R2 fans instead of OEM

@ less than 22dbA fractal fans aren't really audible. more wind noise than a mechanical click
or grind. most noises i hear are from the filters are the air is dragged through them, dirt
and all...

Keep it on the forum boys please.

Not a problem at all well basic question really is should I go for the corsair
Quiet edition or the performance one please some just tell me.
Basically if I go for performance will they be lound or will they be silent in the case I have

Yer every one says that but to tell ya the truth I don't really want to do that if I do get them do u think they will be lound or do u think T will be ok

Well noise is so subjective... It's impossible to answer that question...

I'd probably get the quiet ones, but I have fans as quiet as possible.

It's a bit of a trivial question to make up a 4 page thread tbh

They can never give a full 12v - but close to, so imagine like 11.5v...

And it depends on the motherboard. Some will allow you to control the fans from the motherboard - ie, set to 7v for example...

I personally dont use the motherboard headers for fans as it just makes a mess. I run them all off molex - that way you do get the full 12v. You do get an adapter with the corsair fans btw so you can run them at 7v if you do find them too loud

lol o my god i did not no that so with the performance once i will get a volt decrease ..

also if i run 2 fan of a 1 fan controller with it make the fans run at half the speed con-paired to running of 1 of there own
