Who is willing to help me find a speaker set? I'm sporting an ancient Logitech X540 set (lol) that could do with replacing.

I'm using it to listen to music and play games on the PC. Needs to be 5.1 and wireless.

I've looked around a bit but I'm not knowledgeable enough, admittedly.

this is gona hold you back on a lot of excellent set ups, wanting them wireless is gona be a struggle do you have a budget or are you willing to cough and cough a bit more for some top shelf ones
good thing is these days most are THX and DTS certified

The few times I have messed around with wireless PC speakers, gaming was not great due to latency. They are convenient, but also seem very susceptible to interference. Things may have changed significantly as this was a year or two ago.

Hey lads! Thanks for your input and suggestions!

Correct, my current set isn't wireless (and that annoys me). Good point regarding potential latency; that's unwanted so wired again it is.

Klipsch looks amazing! Budget: not set amount but I have a 'moral budget', is that makes sense? The suggested Logitech Z906 looks pretty good to me actually.

yup looks like if you do want that 5.1 and why the hell not i would if had the space the Logitech Z906 is the way to go and not to expensive either

otherwise the Klipsch has always been not expensive and excellent sound but it is only a 2.1 ... booo lol

Sorted then :D Thanks again guys!!

The Z906 is an awesome 5.1 setup a mate of mine got one a few years ago. It's very very good. Meanwhile i'll stick with my Acoustic Solutions 5.1 set which I bought for £20 from "Crack" oops sorry Cash Converters :p:D

Got it! Thought I'd test it out by surprising the neighbourhood with some Nine Inch Nails. They may have rung the doorbell - I certainly did not hear it... Love the set, excellent sound quality, fat better than what I had.
