Planning to upgrade....

Hey guys, was just thinking of replacing my hd 5670 with mebbe a gtx 560 for better performance in games but I have a query. Will there be bottlenecking if I use it with my existing pentium dual core e5700???

I dont see why it would bottle neck it seems to be a good match. But are ya planning upgrading the rest anytime soon??? if so you might want to look at something a lil more powerful so you dont upgrade and then have the gpu being a bottle neck later lol. Its a vicious circle bro never ending circle

What you are saying is completely true mate but I'm planning to buy a completely new rig later on and will keep this one as a casual gaming-cum-htpc rig...Suddenly my e5700 seems to be a very competitive cpu, thanks!!!

But are you sure the gtx 560 won't be bottlenecked?

it might be a tad but remember the 560 is a low endish card while it may bottle neck ur e5700 some it wont be by major margins say if ya put ( I know this isnt possible) it on a 2500 Barton Core AMD processor lol that would be a major bottle neck for the 560.

I am running a 5670 myself along with an E7500. I thought that it was about right. 2500k with a 560 is my bet
