They are other options outthere that may be cheaper in the SSD market. At the low capacity drives most ssds are limited in speed.. so i would say stick to a good brand but get the cheapest one possible.
The Evo/Pro is quite a difference. Evo uses TLC nand flash and thus will die faster than the MLC in the Pro. Now the drive will still last you about 6ish years and by then you would have already replaced it but its worth noting. Its the same as the regular non evo/pro drive except in the fact it has a "boost" state that kicks in for heavy duty loads. It allows it to speed up for short periods of time and maintain almost the same performance as the Pro but the more often it boost the faster it will die. The Pro is constantly fast running at the same speed but won't die any faster. Should last about 8 or 9 years iirc.
