Yeah i certainly wouldn't call it a cod v battlefield argument as neither of us are trying to fanboy one or the other. I personally still enjoy battlefield 3 but I agree with a lot of the stuff SeekaX is saying with regards to business models and mods also the time it took to fix bugs.

As for PS2 i agree it could be a great game and the devs seem to be working hard on patching it regularly but despite giving it so many goes I found it really boring walking through endless plain scenery having a little battle, getting shot only to walk all the way back if there was no sunderer near by

its the best game out there imo especially since battlefield went downhill with bf3 (plays like COD now)
i play planetside A LOT but i play on the aussie server (briggs) which i guess nobody else here does

you just need to be in the right places for the action, the first hour i was just running around with zero encounters, but then i got how the game works.
and even though the framerate was abhorrent i still played it for 4 hours straight. i will definitely play it some more when i get my new CPU.

it wouldnt be so bad if you diddnt lose pretty much the rest of the map because your teammates want to farm/get farmed at crown/ti (and yeah im not gonna ever buy a COD or BF again - 2142 was the pinnacle of battlefield imo)

i personally stay as far away from that whole area as much as possible

I'm on Miller, anyone in the UK/Europe should be on Miller as it's the biggest server with the most population and the least ping for the UK/EU players.

Looks like F0d which is on Briggs, which is AU, IIRC.

You can't change severs at the moment, they are supposed to be working on an option for sever transfers as part of the roadmap.

It's been on the roadmap since Feb and it hasn't happened yet, god knows when they will get round to doing it. Until then though, you have to stay on the server you are on, unless they merge more servers.

the last time i played a scrim i went bond. well it was crossfire, i suck badly on that map. backlot is my home. smg all day, my ping is too bad for scope + the whole hurr durr pls gimme scope shit is kinda annoying.

I'm exactly the same, SMG all day. Can't play scope to save my life and I can't play defensive like an AK x.x

Have to say, Crash def is my home. Backlot atk is the villa xPP
