Both Screens are the same resolution however the asus has the PPI factor which is far superior in raw pixel density while the sony has a pixel density of a 27 inch 1080 p monitor. However the Sony has vastly better Pq in terms of brightness , blacks Colors and all that good stuff.. Ive seen Both in person on different occasions but not at the same time. The sony is amazing to look at.

Let me clear a few things up. Some will say right off the bat the sony can only take 30 fps do to hdmi 1.4 limiation. This has been resolved with hdmi 2.0 which is finnally been released. The cables them selves are identical . the sony justt needs a Firmware upgrade along with a Driver update coming shortly on the video cards.

Secondly for those who go on about the waste of money asspect this thread clearly is not for you.

With that said would you rather have a highly dense screen or large screen with better pq. resolution remains the same. and why to which ever you choice?

well you're comparing a TV to a monitor here... those are different things
what's the use case?

no theres quite a bit of other stuff in there.. can't really explain that with my shitty english, lacking vocabulary

well for gaming i guess you don't want to sit in front of a 50 inch sceen anyway

so, asus gets my vote. no brainer tbh

I think if I could afford it the Asus would get my vote as well.
4K displays are very expensive right now , I would have to wait for the price to drop.
And Probably have to get a Titan to use one.
