Managed a score of just 130 then read the T&C where it says no netbook/notebooks/tablets or anything along them lines, it made me sad, time to dig out a p3 and underclock a bit.

Run the P3 at <800Mhz, probably ~200Mhz if that's possible, IDK - then run every possible application you can imagine at the same time. Hey, if you really don't care about the system in question, fill it up with malware and run it

I have never done any over clocking or bench marking of any kind. How do you do this and how know what your score is?

How do I test my system so I'll know what I'm doing without it being entered/submitted as my score?

How do I get this 3Dmark 03, is it free? Can I use the free version?

Crap it submitted are you allowed to run more than one time???

All I did was get a validation code and it submitted??

My whole computer scored an 1190 on 3Dmark 03...is this good or bad?

Wow I just sold a box of 75 processors on eBay a few weeks ago that would now come in handy for this.... Everything from Intel 80386's up to some AMD K6 II's.

Dammmmmnit. Good luck to the contestants.

I have a 486DX 100MHz up in the loft, I think it has win98SE 16Meg of RAM I haven't a clue about the graphics, onboard I think but it worked last time I looked.

There is also the remnants of a 386 SX with a pair of SCSI 150Meg drives, and an original IBM XT as well but they are in bits ! Not sure what happened to my 286 unlike me to throw anything away...

PS: Before you laugh some of use were rocking quick 486's cos they were faster than the first Pentium's, floating point issues if I remember right...

oheee my 32 mhz cpu shall come in handy ... lol shame i have no mobo

Same boat with my 486SX 25, I think I have some SIMMs kicking around somewhere still, but a board.... hmmmmm

The joy would come in actually trying to convince 3dmark to actually run on it, let alone getting >win 95 to run
