people who think quadcores run at 10ghz+

WAIT so you guys are saying that if I have a CPU running 12 cores at 4ghz per core it's not actually running 48 ghz....
what the I don't even.........
the guy that sold me this 12 core chip tols me that if I set the "bee clock" to 200 it would actually be 200 times faster than that even....you guys sure you have your facts straight here? because I find it hard to believe that anyone on ebay would sell false information
