Old people and busses / old people on busses

What really annoys me are old people who expect everyone to move out of their way because they have some how earned the right to be treated differently because of their age, don't get me wrong there are some really nice ones, but I was waiting for the bus earlier today, and was one of the first people at that bus stop, but me and my friend where stood behind it, the bus pulls up 10mins later after people have gathered, and me and my friend go to get on first, and this old lady says to us "do you mind lads, all these other people have been waiting a lot longer than you have to get on this bus" to which i just responded telling her to shut up under my breath.

It just gets on my nerve that they expect special treatment just because of their age. Don't get me wrong i'm sure its better to respect them, but the majority are just ignorent moany people who think the same of people my age... Its just old ladies, the men seem fine.

I also agree that there's some right miserable old people out there, especially when driving. You let them go past you, you put up your hand after you've been waiting there for 30 seconds for them to drive through without worries, they just look at you miserable & don't even flutter any appreciation.

Or when walking in town how they don't move out your way, even if I'm walking with my son & he's too busy looking in all the windows, I'm trying to keep an eye on him & they can see him walking towards them. Some of them just decide to keep walking and try knock him down or something, so I have to move my son (2 years old) as he's smiling at the little boy playing with his new balloon & not doing any harm apart from he's in their way.

I've also had an old man walk straight into me before. I was trying to find the milk in the isle & I moved over to the left as they were stacking the shelves so he could get past, and because I couldn't move over any more, he just decided to walk as hard as he could into my shoulder, purely because he was rude & couldn't be bothered to move himself over as I waited. Really I should of said something, but I wanted milk

. Guaranteed if it was the other way around I'd be arrested & charged with assault.

Old ladies are also sometimes the same, but you can get some really nice ones.

Maybe they just have issues with todays youth, maybe they're having trouble at the house with youngsters smashing their windows etc... but they can't judge a person by others behaviour.
