How to safely remove a pen drive from your xbox 360? ok, so i don't have any music on my xbox and i use my pen drive (usb stick) for music and before removing it from a computer i must select eject or safely remove but you don't have those options on an xbox 360 so i was wondering if i just turn my xbox off then remove the pen drive will that potentially damage my data because my school work is on the pen drive? and it cost me a lot of money? Also what can i do?

There isn't a default function for it on the Xbox, but you can remove it at any time as long as it's not being accessed e.g. When playing music/movies etc from it. To be on the safer side then yeah, turn off the Xbox and then remove the USB Stick.

I've only experienced one USB Memory Stick corrupt from illegally removing it, and that was on a Windows 98 Machine.
