Pelt 775 cpu block!

Thankyou for your order, unfortunatley we are out of stock of the Maz4-1 775 blocks, and Ive been told we are not going to stock then anymore

This has put a spanner in the works. To my knowledge the DD Maze4-1 was the only block I could use with a pelt.

My question is this, will the standard maze4 work with the addition of a cold plate? Does it have holes in the right places?

Edit. Can't find that sucker in stock anywhere! This sucks. i have orders from multiple e-tailers winging their way to my house - all useless without a cpu block that accepts pelts

Also I know swiftech do some TEC coolers and I *THINK* that some of their water blocks are compatible with pelt plates

If you can get a Maze4 then it should deffo have the holes for the cold plate mate.

The site I assume you are referring to is Over-Clock? I hate the fact that they don't have live stock information. I've had the same problem many times. VERY annoying.

EDIT: If you wanna save some money, I've got a cold plate here u can have. It's been used so needs a bit of a tidy up, but its not scratched or anything.

EDIT2: Just spoken to WCUK and they say that the Maze4 definately has the mounting holes on the 939 version they got a while back. So you should be good to go with a cold plate.

I can't even find a maze4 - anywhere.

If I can't find one I need to cancel the Booster x3, the extra rad and the rest of the shizz pronto. I'll be left with the pelt from ebay as it is non refundable. Guess I can whack that back on there.

Really hacked off. This could end my pelt project

I very much doubt Danger Den will have them in stock either, AFAIK they are made to order due to slow sales and not worth keeping them instock..

I've just been in touch with the UK Distributor to see if i can get you sorted but they have told me they are also not stocking them anymore and plan to phase them out very shortly.. Adding the Maze4's onto an order can delay their main order by upto 3 weeks which as you can imagine isnt good for business

As long as the base of the block covers the whole of the pelt then any block will work fine. You just need to put plenty or pressure between the pelt and the block/cold plate for it to perform at its best.

@XMS cheers mate. Awkward position i'm in. Let all the stuff arrive to find the apogee doesn't work and be left with a load of parts I can't use... or just pull the plug now.

What are the dimensions/placement of the holes on the cold plate? I'll have to see if they match up.

Am I even able to get a refund on stuff from other etailers jsut because one let me down rendering the other parts useless to me?
