Hello chaps!

I've got a preatty annoying problem with my MoBo, it's an AsRock Fatal1ty z77 performance board and it has gottwo PCI slots but i can't get them to work in any way! I really want to use my old PCI TV card but the UEFI nor the windows device maneger won't let me see it, i've tried with another pci card and also tried uninstalling my GPU with hope that the PCI lane is shared with the PCI-E lane, but that didn't work either, i've installed all drivers that was on the cd and I've updated them, I have not updated the BIOS yet because the change log doesn't say anything about PCI interface. Is this a known problem or are my lanes faulty? I've tried both of them.

i know in the older P67/Z68 BIOS, the legacey PCI lanes had an option to
be turned "on or off" and sometimes certain ones as well. id click through the BIOS
under hardware or system to see if there is a switch for this issue. other than that
id contact the manufacturer about a possible issue..

What processor do you have?

On Z77 boards, the 3rd PCIE lane is usually disabled if you don't have an Ivybridge processor. Don't know if this could cause an error with PCI lanes though?

How do you know it isn't a faulty TV card?
