Hi everyone. I want to experiment a bit but (im lazy) i have a question for you guys.
I have an Fx-8350 and i was wondering since gaming like higher speeds more than higher number of cores, would disabling some cores give me less throughput on the pci-e bus or is there another part of the cpu that handles that?
What i was thinking is that if i "go down" to a quad core setup and bump up the clock speed would it give me some more in-game performance or would i limit the pci-e throughput for my gpu (R9 280x)
Thanks in advance and sorry for weird english
