Pc wont boot.

Right, currently in tech, i shud be revising for tomorrows exam... but i really cant be arsed.

Anyway.... My pc dosnt want to turn on, not too sure why not... but i was having some hdd problems because i kinda broke the sata plug thing.

When i boot a blue screen appears but then restarts.

Any ideas for me to fix it?

Does indeed sound like a hard drive issue. Try removing the HDD all togther and booting from a CD? Or boot a Memtest86 disc and kill two birds with one stone

the actual plastic bits broken holding the contacts so basicly a new hard drive dan

Some1 else broken their hdd plug thingy the other month, can`t remember who.

Then some1 busted the power to a hdd, and ghetto`d the sucker

Fiddle with the cable again...you got it to boot at my house after breaking it - if so quickly get everythin onto your microphoto or send the stuff downstairs via the networking.

Yea, i spent a whole night tryign that. I checked all mobo connections etc. No luck.
