PC taking ages to boot?

My computer usually takes around 10 seconds to boot with an SSD.

Over the last couple of days, the BIOS messages have been taking around 30 seconds, then the windows loading screen around 3/4 minutes.

Any ideas why? Or solutions for it?

I've tried clearing the BIOS and taking any overclocks off.

Thanks in advance

10 seconds is impressive.

ok, i have same board, go into bios and in advancd options one of the last tabs will have the option that will by default be enabled to force bios, change that to whatever the other option is, thats around 3-5 seconds,

then in win, open run and type "msconfig" then boot, then change the timeout to 3 seconds(my preference) then tick "no GUI boot", you can remove some startup apps in the other tabs aswell to save some time on boot aswell, then save and reboot.

by doing that youll get rid of the annoying splash screen at the start which is another couple of seconds, to reduce it even further you can remove password that another sec or so :3

many things you can do

Thanks for the reply, gunna try those steps anyway but I do believe i've fixed the problem.

Opened up the pc and pushed sata cables further in and that seems to have fixed it!

Around 10 seconds yeh

not including any bios messages though

I could be due to a bad hard drive of bad connection to one of your hard drives. I recently had the same problem, the sata data connector on one of my storage drives was broken and cause the system to boot very slow. when I removed the hard drive everything works great and the system boots normal.
