I was cleaning up the attic today and found my old gamecube. In my opinion it`s the best console ever made. I saw if i could just slide it into the optical bays but it is a little bit to wide.
Step 1: Check if ngc still works, and it does
Step 2: Open up and clean the ngc
Comes with removable dust filter
Cleaned the fan
All apart
Step 3: Sand down the sides so it fits the bays (impossible)
so i tried sanding everything as thin as it could get without falling apart. It's still to wide...
Step 4: Forget step 3 and move on...
Step 5: Change of plans, I'm way to busy so it'll be a quick one, no 3d printed goodness or anything
Anyway, here's the normal case with the sides cut off and a little wood plate to hold it.
Step 6: Got some very thin plastic to make new (thinner) sides.
Step 7: Cleaned up the cutted sides.
Step 8: Cleaned the top bit.
So today the carbon fiber arrived, so first I glued the plastic sides on.
It was still to wide so I decided to go without sides.
From than on, all i had to do is put the vinyl on.
And put it inside the case.
Also had to do the cables ofcourse.
Now I said it was finished in the title, it isn't. I find it extremely difficult to find a rca to vga adapter thats availible and afordable...
so still on the ngc emulator atm... If you know a place (preferably in flanders) please tell me.
