One last thing about this build for those trying to fit a 3x140 rad in the roof without modding or at least a Phobya one. Take a look at the picture of lil problem I ran into...
Due to the the bleed screw on the back of the rad I couldn't get the darn thing to fit properly (all holes lined up) without moving the power supply cover to the outside. >< I simply used double sided-foam tape to make it work (what I used to install the window as well). I meant to mention this earlier but it slipped my mind.

have you tried mounting the ssds elsewhere and mounting the rad in the front? would look far tidier but still a great build mate
waterblock on that 7950 looks great
thanks! I actually have some ideas for the near future pertaining to the rads. I plan to set them in motion very soon. I can see how the 2nd rad being in the window like that can make it seem a lil crowded and not as clean. Honestly, I did it just to see if I could seeing as this is my 1st water cool build. Stay tuned!

OK, small update of what I dedicated several of my hours too and royally pissed off my GF for....
As I said I had an idea about the rads and I had to test that idea of mine out....
Renovation time!
annnnnd I think we'll put this right here now....
yeeeeeaaaah, PS sitting on foam pads secured with zip ties and 2 bitspower rad mounts with the fan sucking in cold air thanks to several mysterious empty screw holes I noticed on the floor of the hdd bay but doesn't that mean my power supply bay is now open?
Got a little sum'n in the mail to help me with that from MountainMods.com for $5 + shipping (which was ridiculous

Like I said, this is just a small update. Not the big one I'm working on. I will tell you, that all the fans are being replaced except the bitfenix ones in the front. The ThermalRight X-Silents are great fans but....how do I put this.....they're ugly as sin. I honestly thought from the pic on FrozenCPU that they were fans with black frames and transparent grey blades which would've been fine but when they arrived, my heart sunk. They weren't so bad that I would return them but they're definitely not staying so that's one of the things changing and they'll be others. Now for pics!
Thanks for all your comments! I appreciate the feedback and advice. This place along with TTL videos inspires me to no end which in turn eats a gaping hole in my wallet but its sweet pain! Next update, I'm bringing out the big

Interesting rearrangement. Neat idea to stash the PSU in the empty space in the HDD area but would you said it was really worth the cost (ie. pissed off girlfriend and P&P)?

Ok, so its been awhile, took a flight, tackled another a class, and here we are again. Got a little break from both school and work so of course, I gotta spend it on the PC!

First things 1st, let's get the loop drained again and broken down.

Alright, pulled the rads out and replaced the fans.

Now with all fans in, time for cable management!
If you noticed, I added a few things back here. I put in a few more cable tie points cause the case originally has no where near enough places to tie your cables down and I also installed an 3-pin power module from FrozenCPU so I can hook up 8 fans in one area neatly. Closer look at that:
and after a few hours, some long 3-pin extension cables, and of course, lots of patience we have:
and we move on to putting the loop back together

Ok, I wanted to do things a little different behind the res. Honestly, I wanted another res but a surprise bill popped up from a few years ago that effectively canceled all purchases for this month. lol Instead, I tried to do something different with the fittings. so I now I have this setup in there for the pump to radiator.
Oddly, enough I wanted to put the pump in a different place but with this style pump its kind of difficult to do that with everything in the case as it was so I kept it hooked directly to the back of the res with a dual rotary fitting which I would find out later, I could've done a little better installing to avoid the pain of trying to tighten one side of the fitting without loosening the other. lol
I got a real drain port now thanks to Alphacool putting a lovely little G1/4 port on the back of the rad which allowed me to do this:
and then attach a short piece of tube with a Bitfenix drain valve on the end to make this loop more easier to drain than ever. Changing coolants whenever I feel will no longer be a hassle. ^_^
Loop together and filled!

I guess so but I really think Project Logs should be reserved for people actually doing extraordinary things with their computers beyond basic building. I'm not handy with a dremel or anything like that. The most modding I've done to the case was using double sided tape to install a window I bought pre-cut from FrozenCPU and move the power supply cover to the outside of the case to fit the rad. lol I don't think it comes close to your last project which should you so happen to lose your mind and want to ship it, please msg me for an address. :lol:
