Hi everyone. We have been very lucky in getting a chance to work on further projects for MSI. This time in a larger ATX sized Parvum case. Giving us a chance to explore the larger form factor first hand while showing off some awesome MSI hardware.

This build is possible with the support of MSI, Hyper X and XSPC.

Case - Custom Parvum ATX
CPU - Intel Unknown
Motherboard - MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition Intel Z97
Memory - Hyper X Unknown
GPU - MSI GTX 960 2GD5T OC
SSD - Hyper X 3K
PSU - Silverstone Strider 1500W

First we will take a look at the core components for the build. Naturally these will form the theme on which we build around, complementing the harsh aesthetic contrasts of MSI's hardware.

Finally we will see the ATX Parvum!

The ATX Parvum can take several forms, ranging from Magnus to what we will do for this project. This will be an opportunity for us to build in one, in a slightly less extreme way, and that will certainly influence what we do with larger form factor cases in the future. ;)

Loving how it looks and the pictures really stand out... the snake on the motherboard made it all abit more "Uhmff!" so to speak :p

Although, that 1500W PSU?, is it just me or?...

We do have quite a lot of fans, 300W for the system, 10x100W for the fans, 25W for the pump, 25W for the LEDZ, little 150W overhead to give the PSU a chance... but your right we probably could do with another one just to be safe.

lol jk, going for some killer overclocks.

Ok, legit this time of the PSU's we had ready to go into builds it made sense to put that in this one where there was plenty of room and it would look nicely proportioned.

Lets take a look at all of the water cooling components we shall be using in PARVUM KRAIT. With literally several black nickel fittings from XSPC and EKWB to hand building a clean and distinctive loop should not be a problem.

What else but gloriously white XSPC AX radiators to bring the harsh KRAIT contrast through into the rest of the case.

The pump which shall be used is an D5-Vario with a stealthy black XSPC acetal top.

With such an expansive radiator area it would probably run quite happily with no fans, but just in case we found 6 or 10 Noiseblocker NB-eLoop's

That just leaves blocks for the memory and CPU, XSPC's raystorm blocks complimented the motherboard well while not over-powering the standard heatsinks and detailing. The graphics cards won't be including in the loop as we wished to retain their KRAIT branding.

No Parvum would be complete without a little bit of HyperX, somehow looking even better in black and white we have a 3K SSD for PARVUM KRAIT.

The moment you've all been waiting for, a relatively gigantic Parvum of the ATX form with plenty of room to accommodate all of the watercooling gear.

Thanks for all of your positive comments, we can't wait to bring you even more, naturally in black and white.

With all of the parts selected and neatly positioned in the case it was time to plan out the loop and prepare to unite the components with coolant. At this point the pump and reservoir were propped up and we experimented with placement of fittings to carry off the distinctive Parvum rigid acrylic style.

It's not just as simple as smashing in loads of rotaries, much consideration was given to symmetry and balance.

After getting to positions we were happy with the pump was mounted directly to the rear panel of the case.

Next time we will be tubing the loop, mounting the reservoir and hopefully getting on to some leak testing. Plus there are a few loose ends to be wrapped up in the back of the case.

PS. Whoever can spot the huge oversight (which was totally done on purpose) will earn a teaser for your forum.

Only things i can see are 1. The 2 fans and the rad are missing the black covers over the bearing section and 2. the pump is missing a stop cap.

But i have been up for over just short of 36 hrs so will have another look lol.

We are waiting for some more matt black fan stickers but that's not the one. Your very close with the stop cap, a commendable effort for such awakeness.

There's a lifetime's wages worth of fittings in those boxes...

Still don't understand why the markup on those things is so utterly stupid compared to the bom cost. But meh..

This is looking lush.

Looks to me like you're going res-cpu-ram-pump-rad instead of res-pump if I see this corectly according to the angle of the fittings, is that the 'oversight'?

EDIT: oh nope it's the other way around, res-rad-pump-ram-cpu, the middle port of the pump is the inlet!! :p
