Parkway Drive "Font"

Heya guys!

Not sure if this should be in here but I have a request for the members of OC3D! Especially the ones that can draw well.

I am a massive fan of a band called Parkway Drive and their song "Home is for the Heartless" has made a huge impact on me. The lyrics are just so... well, me.
I really want to have that phrase tattoo'd on my chest (with a compass on my heart).

Now the problem is; I want it in the same letters as the Parkway Drive logo. It just looks really classy and I think it would just look great. But the letters in their logo are not a font, they are hand drawn.

My request to any of you that can draw properly out there! Would anyone mind to draw/write the phrase "Home is for the Heartless" with these letters? I'd be very thankful!

How about asking the tattoo shop dudes to draw it for you? Print it and they will draw it for you, of course with the other design features you want.

I personally don't like random images on my body. Every aspect of it needs to have a deeper meaning to me

I did, but they charge €20,- just to draw a design '
Figured I might ask it here before going over there. See if there was someone with good drawing skills that would be so nice to do this for me

Holy hell, 20 pounds!
They must be really talented to charge that much. I think those people are more amazing with the pencil than they are with the tattooing machine. Anyway try it out see if there is someone talented that can do it , but a tattoo stays mostly.. forever lol, so I do suggest sticking with the pros. Your choice though.

I just passed comment on the stylized typeface on the Parkway logo, personally, I think something like flowers, i.e. roses would add some oomph to it. A piece of text isn't my cup of tea, what it says, could be meaningful, but I wouldn't have text as a chest piece.

Yeah it's rediculous. I checked it and I was even wrong; it's €30,-.... for them to make changes to a design you brought with you. It costs €50,- for a completely new one '

I think you are absolutely right, though like I said, I personally just don't like the idea of flowers. I'll see if I can come up with something though, thanks for the tip!

Well, this piece of text just means an awful lot to me. It's my life story basically, so I deffinitily think that it's worth it. They are quite popular, I want something like this, on the upper chest (collarbone):

I'm also going to implement the compass (later though, it's going to be my first and I don't think it's a good idea to do the whole thing in one sit) on my heart. It's going to be connected to the text, so eventually it won't be "just letters"

It'd be a sick tat mate. Go for it. Just find a tattoo artist that will draw up what you want. Should have no trouble.
Parkway Drive too, f'n awesome! Used to go surfing with Winston many years ago. Bloody champ he is. The lads have come a long way.

Only problem with tats on the chest, is well.... chest hair.
